Eyes and Eyelids

My eye issues require regular visits to an ophthalmologist. Over several years I have consistently had warm and professional attention at Eyes and Eyelids. I am so grateful to have found a Practice which combines professional excellence with interpersonal respect and warmth. I look forward to appointments which under other circumstances could be highly anxiety provoking. This a small, friendly Practice where all staff contribute to my feeling valued, welcomed and in safe hands.

My husband attended Eyes and Eyelids on several occasions in order to remedy eye problems. The bedside manner from reception through to surgery and seeing Dr Rosser was exemplary throughout the whole process. Terrible experience in booking system and how the admin mange bookings when it got pushed.We arrived 5 mins before our appointment, and got told that's it's running late today. This is normal and understandable. We told the admin that we have another appointment to go, please help. However, after we waited for 30 minutes, another visitor just came, the admin person just simply let that person go first simply before she got a booking in front of us. They have no consideration given we were running late.

I was referred to Eyes and Eyelids by my GP when I seemed to be developing a problem with my peripheral vision. After testing, I went ahead with the eyelid reduction procedure and have been extremely pleased with the results. An important part of the experience was the service of the reception and nursing staff which I see is advertised as warm and friendly" It is indeed extremely warm and extremely friendly.I have no hesitation in recommending Eyes and Eyelids."

Having cataracts removed was initially to me quite unsettling. But in the end there was nothing to be concerned about. From the beginning being greeted warmly by Kimberly and Amanda in reception and then Mary the lovely nurse that prepares you for surgery with a charm that totally relaxes you.The anaesthetists Amber and Collette definitely add more calm. Dr Jo Sims was sensational, her professionalism and expertise was the final aspect of my experience. All in all my initial concerns were evaporated because Dr Jo and her magnificent team did everything to treat me in a very special way.Oh, and the Result? 20/20 vision and to me a miracle. Dr Paul Rosser and his wonderful team made my surgery journey a very easy one. I have to confess I was feeling a little bit nervous with the procedure but their professionalism, kindness and sense of humour put me on the right track and I got excellent results at the end. In brief, I trust and love them: thank you, guys!

The service and care at this clinic is exceptional in every respect. I owe my eyesight to Jo and her expertise. I don’t believe there is a better specialist in the country. All of the equipment and facilities are top notch. I would highly recommend to anyone requiring specialist care. The whole team are absolute professionals and you will be in the best care possible.

This was my first visit to Eyes and Eyelids. I found them on a Google search and the managed to fit me in straight away.As a result, I have just had the most wonderful Ophthalmologist appointment (I know that sounds a bit over the top, but its hard to feel good when you feel vulnerable and appointments for acute/emergency issues can be quite fraught).Every person I came in to contact with was lovely and calm, and thoughtful. The receptionist remembered our earlier conversation, the nurse was very gentle and considered, and I felt really listened to and not rushed. I came away with a much better understanding of what was going on, thanks to the lovely, tone, manner and personal style of the Ophthalmologist, who was also very kind and considerate. I have had more medical appointments than I care to recount over the years and this was without a doubt the best overall experience, right from the first phone call, that I have ever had.To top it off, waiting room has the most beautiful tropical fish and coral. Pristine clean, the fish are very inquisitive and engaging. It was a welcome and calming distraction from my acute eye condition. Thank you to everyone at the clinic, it made a big difference to have such a lovely experience. Highly recommended.
