Hireace - Wellington Airport (Depot)

Not recommended! Dirty, unsafe 2006 Toyota Hi-ace van provided for a 7 day booking Wellington to Auckland?!!! We ended up returning the van 3 hours later as we didn’t feel safe and worst they refuse to give any refund for the $2,000 paid amount!!!

Great service and easy pickup and drop off.Depot is not at the airport. We were walking to the zone where we get collected and saw the Hireace van going and waved. The guy stopped and let us in, which saved us having to wait and him to come back to the airport. (he could easily not have stopped as he was out in the lane)Quick at the depot due to me doing all the paperwork online prior...and I suggest anyone do this. It was easy. Need to upload image of front and back of license and complete form but it did make the collection simple and we were off in our van.Dropoff was by one of our group as we had first flight out but again, very simple.Thanks Hireace and we will use you again.

Would highly recommend Hireace, excellent and helpful staff members, affordable vans, we hired a 10 seater van which was so comfortable had no issues with it. Would definitely hire from them again.

Brought a large group to Wellington and hired 3 x 12 seater vans and 2 x luggage trailers. From initial enquiry to drop off, the experience was quick and efficient. Though not the newest vans they were well maintained and serviced. We had no issues at all and enjoyed an awesome 4 days exploring this wonderful city. Recommended and will use Hireace again.

Excellent customer service when booking, pick up and dropping off. I thought dropping off to the airport site would be stressful just before my flight but it was totally fine and easy. Thanks.

What an amazing deal - $14 per day for 6 days plus a $30 Wellington Airport Surcharge! (This was booked through a car rental comparison website based in Europe - not sure if that was why the price was so good). The $250 bond was repaid to me 3 days after I returned the car. I did not take out the additional insurance to cover the excess as I have cover from an annual international excess insurance policy. The depot is off site and we were picked up outside the Terminal within 10 minutes of our phone call from the Airport. The staff were excellent, polite and the paperwork was completed quickly. The car was good. It had quite a few scratches but a detailed condition report was provided at the outset. Would recommend!

Quick and easy process. Reasonable pricing. Friendly, knowledgeable staff from booking stage, to pick up stage, through to drop off stage. We needed a hire for Saturday morning - put enquiry in on Friday night outside office hours - staff called us back within minutes (using her own personal time) to get us sorted. Appreciate everyone's help xo

We hired a large van to transport items from Wellington to Auckland in mid-March. The online booking process was very easy and the vehicle was ready on time. The van was in very good condition and easy to drive. We dropped it off at the Mangere depot and they provided us with a lift to the airport. The staff were very professional and friendly. Later in the year we will need to book another van so will definitely be using Hireace.
