We wanted someone local & they have proven themselves to be exceptional people in service, mechanical problems & repairs, their quotes are fair & reasonable, not over the top & offer a support car service so you are not left stranded for the time your car is in their shop. Sorry guys.I have been coming to you for years and always had a good experience. This time Not so. Booked car in Thursday morning for the day. On my return was told needed a part so bring back in morning. Left car in morning and walked around for 2 hours, the time given. Told car not ready, still waiting for part to arrive at 4. Come back at 3. Get a phone call later to tell me to leave till Monday as part may not arrive in time. Took car back in Monday for the third time only to be told that I needed to get a wheel alignment as you had worked on steering. As part of the service I feel you should have taken it for the wheel alignment, especially with messing me around so much. I will not be returning and will not recommend you to anyone.

Do not recommend this place at all, took my car in to get a new clutch and flywheel put in. Thinking it would be a nice and easy job for them to do but boy was I wrong? Dropped my car off one Monday morning, told me it would be done by Friday afternoon. I pop in Friday just to be told the parts hadn't arrived yet. So wait till Monday give them a call, they say that they have the parts and are putting them in. Thursday comes by I decide to stop in to see how things are going they told me the clutch and flywheel were in, but they had broken my knock sensor and are waiting for a new sensor. They tell me I can drive my car home and to bring it back the following Monday to put new sensor in. So I go to put car in 1st but all I get is a big crunch and same for reverse. They tell me It will go away in time. So I come back Monday and they put new sensor in, check diagnostic and then good. But go to drive off and engine light comes on? This happens for the next 2 weeks, me going back and forth for new sensors all while the gears were still crunching. I got fed up and told them it sounds like they don't know what they were doing and took my car somewhere else and they managed to fix my clutch and knock sensor with 2 days.

Absolutely disgusted with the service. All we asked for was for him to look at the car and tell us what was wrong and how much it was going to cost. Instead he did a whole lot of work to it without consulting us and then just handed us a $750 bill!! Eventually got the parts that we didn't want in the first place taken out and when we asked for our old ones back he said he had thrown then out and told us to just deal with it. Absolute rip off with atrocious customer service skills. Will never be going there again and will be warning other people not to go there.

I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone. I had a Service done on my diesel on the 3rd of May 2019. They claimed I had an oil leak from my turbo and my drive belt was fraying. Naturally I was concerned about damaging my car further and stopped driving it and used my second vehicle and started putting pennies away for what I knew would be an expensive repair. Fast forward to the start of August with enough funds, I reached out to Crosbie Motors to ask for a rough quote. They said I would have to bring it in again for another check. So I decided to go and get a second opinion at a different Mechanics - surprise, surprise. He cleaned up the engine as he said he couldn’t source where this leak was and told me to drive it for the next week. I obeyed. Bring it back to the new mechanic and he cannot find an oil leak anywhere let alone a turbo leak!! AND they drive belt definitely did not need replacing he said. Furthermore - yes there is more!! I had a rat in my vehicle from the South Island. It peed all over my cabin filter, so I removed it with my dads help down on the farm before the long haul up North and intended to buy a new once I arrived to Auckland.. I hadn’t got around to putting a new cabin filter in. But Crosbie Motors came out with a dramatically chewed up filter and said we cleared this out for you too. I was confused as there wasn’t one to even pull out!! But I’m naive and thought perhaps there is two... Nope only one. Pity the fool. Avoid this place at all cost. Shafters and schemers and liars.

Got a warrant and service from here. Dropped off my car at 8am, picked up at 130pm excellent service. Fair pricing! Will be back!

After going two or three places that couldn’t help me Crosby motors made it happen and in a heartbeat and the next day nothing short of outstanding unbeatable. Absolutely outstanding service. John Foote

I had a radiator flush, a auto transmission flushed, new transmission oil put into my 2004 Nissan Maxima plus a few repairs done, excellent service done by the awesome team at Crosbie Automotive...Highly recommend this outfit to other motorists.John...The very unpolitical correct ''Despicable Dutchman''.

I'd really like to thank the whole team down at crosbie automotive!! I had been mucked around by another mechanic I called to see if they could possibly help me instead. Not only did they help me and fix my car that day they gave me a lift to and from my house!! Not to mention the absolute best customer service from the phone and at the desk!! And from the mechanic Just a great bunch of helpful people who get the job done!! No hidden costs!! Honestly I wont be going anywhere else from now on!!!
