Very highly recommended. The taste is guaranteed and very friendly staff. We would dine in every week. There are some dishes that is just incomparable to any restaurants in Auckland. Must visit!

Very reasonable prices. Big portion on each dish. It tastes a bit too strong for me but may be those are tranditional way.

My wife and I have always been fond of their food. The consistency between their different shops (both Dominion Road and Albany) is great. Their authenticity of Sichuan taste is incomparable. Friendly and efficient staff providing excellent customer service. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried. Dinning in taste even better than doing take aways.

Authentic Chinese food, quite a few challenging dishes to the Western taste but definitely worth to try. Good size portions, excellent value for money.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Service was absolutely poor. I’ve never seen anyone this rude at a restaurant before. I ordered large sesame dumplings and the amount of sesame sauce they gave me was less than 1/10 of what I got from the Mt Eden branch. I was expecting the same taste and quality of food as Mt Eden but it’s not even close. Hope the owner does some quality control of the second branch. Not even worth a star.

Have been here couple of times and it never let me down. Noodles,rice with dishes on top, deserts,you name it. All of them are great taste and decent portions. Their spicy sauce is unfortunately not for sale but free to take when you dine in. It is something you can die for if you are a spicy food lover. I will no doubt keep coming back and recommending this place to my friends.

Real Chinese food!!! A bit odd but it was very tasty. Highly recommended.

We had three dishes take away, they were fried rice with beef, twice-cooked pork belly on rice and Earthen Bowl Chicken. Had we known what we’d suffer that night, we’d never visit this restaurant. We mainly had the Earthen Bowl Chicken as it was a big dish. About midnight both my husband and I woke up with a very sore and twisted stomach, soon after we started a spree of vomiting and diarrhea till morning the next day (a minimum 10 times each). At the end, we were too weak to go to work so had to call a sick day each.That was the worst food poisoning experience we had. They gave you lots of meat in the bowl but at a relatively cheap price so my guess is that they used old chicken instead of fresh meat.So please be cautious people. Throwing up all night is absolutely awful.

This is our first time eating at this Chinese restaurant, and the experience has been terrible.We were served spicy food, and none of us were able to consume it.We literally tried to finish it, but we couldn't. We enjoy spicy foods, but what we were served was inediblely spicy. The staff even told me that in their Chinese culture, this food is not at all spicy, and they REFUSED to refund us the money we paid, so it was a total WASTE of money. Another thing is that we literally removed the other meat food from the bowl because it was submerged in oil, which we literally can't eat.However, they should have been more knowledgeable about how to filter their customers, regardless of nationality; they should have informed customers that their type of spicy may not be suitable for other customers. We were offered SODA as a courtesy, but due to a lack of better communication, we do not drink soda and instead opt for water.Definitely not a recommended dining establishment.Value for Money - 1 starStaff & chef - 1 starFood - 1 star

We discovered this restaurant few months back. Most of the food we ordered were very authentic. My favorite is the knife cut noodles (刀削麵). We try to go there every week. It's our new favorite.Thank Ms Hu (the owner) for her warm reception everytime we visited.
