Great place to camp up for the night. No toilets, the ranger in charge informed us that if you're not prepared to use your own (as with all self contained vehicles) then move along to one of the other sites, fox river being the closest.

Some of the best freedom camping in the area, nice big gravel Carpark down by the beach. Beach has a great cave at the end to explore. Just down the road from pancake rocks

Convenient location to spend the night with a lovely beach. Real shame people trashed the place. One of the filthiest freedom camps I’ve visited.

Little parking lot by the beach. Nothing extra but its nice to have a freedom camp close to the Pancake Rocks. Enough space for caravans as well. Was just as and two vans there last night.There were some wekas there in the morning and one hen. They were obviously used to people as they would go into our caravan if we didnt close the door.

A great place to spend a night. Falling asleep to the sound of waves is so enjoyable. Need to be self-contained to camp here, limited to three nights.

A great spot, far enough from the road to be nice and quiet. Big enough for large rigs. For certified self-contained only, and the warden came and checked our warrant. A mother weka and 2 chicks were cruising around in the bush.
