Polynesian Spa

Loved it! I'd suggest visitors to Rotorua to start early and do all activities and finally come to Polynesian Spas to relax and unwind. Pools ranging from temperatures 40 and 30 degrees celcius. Acidic and alkaline pools . Variety of packages available. Check their website or ask reception and they are extremely helpful. Do Not come to the spa when the sun is hot. The heated water and the hot sun will make u uncomfortable. Come in the coolness of the evening and sink in the pools. Keep hydrated at all times if in the pool . There are plenty of drinking water fountains.We tried the pavillion pools as there were several of them and at a very affordable- value-for-money price. Enjoy your stay.

Incredible place to visit. We spent an hour in the geothermal pools before having our treatment. Hubby had a stress relief massage and I had a full body exfoliation and an AIX massage. It was wonderfully therapeutic and something I've never done before. It was like a shower over your body throughout the massage! I loved the free fresh juice voucher which was a nice touch, as well as the 20% off shopping voucher. The fluffy gowns were great too! There is a relaxation lounge with free herbal teas and waters. You can use the pools as long as you like with any treatment booked.

A great set of hot pools by the lake.Feels more like going to a public pool, but the view over the lake is very pretty.I like that there are multiple pools to choose from at different temperatures (37-41°c) so you can jump around to suit your body better. Water bottle refill stations around too.There are change rooms and a showerA reminder not to wear jewelry inside the pools, it can tarnish it.It can get a little busy with people but for the most part the pools are big enough there is space between people, there are private pools available as well though.A relaxing spot, rain or shine!

We drove 3 hours from Auckland for this hot pool experience. Firstly it was raining on our way there we were so worry that we weren't able to see the nice view of the sulphur lake. But later in the afternoon the sky cleared up. We had Delax spa pool which cost $70 NZ.There are shampoo,conditioner and towel provided in the shower. The temperature of the pool is perfect and the view is epic. I highly recommend people to try this one. Best with value as well as OT doesn't have any time limit you can stay as long as you like.

Great price considering how many pools there were and that you can be there for as long as you want! Make sure you take a towel and a big bottle of water too, although there are loads of water fountains.I didn't pay for a locker as I only had my rucksack and never felt unsafe leaving it at any point, and it can be within arm's reach and dry at most points in the pools. A lot of signage explaining the history of the pools too!Was recommended to by a local and I would definitely recommend in the future!

Bought a ticket to deluxe lake spa ( about 50 dollars). The location was great and the view was amazing. Toilets and showers were great too. We tried different pools and there were various temperature. Love the cold pool as well, very refreshing!We were told by the ticket lady that there would be no kids. We went in to a big group (5-6 kids) jumping into the hot springs and making loud noises.Apart from that, we had great experience! And would love to come back to try the private pools options.

We had a nice private Spa with lake view. Love it. The only issue was online booking was not working at that time and they could not take the booking over the phone so I had to go and book at the reception before our booking time which was not very convenient.

Absolutely amazing experience! If you’re a couple looking for romantic relaxation I definitely recommend booking the massage, lunch & private bathing package! The pools, massage, & food were all excellent. We have had a few spa experiences in our day & this one was my favorite of all time!
