Christchurch Farmers' Market
Must visit when you are in Christchurch, especially on a beautiful summer day… grab some bites and sit by the river to enjoy your food while watching the ducks play in the water. Watch out not to step or sit on duck poop though.

Too hard to get a coffee (only one stall and long queue). Got to try posh porridge, it was tasty but a bit pricy.

Christchurch Farmers' Market
A good place to buy local specialities and produce. Have been here a couple of times before Covid. Used to be super crowded but now seems to be slightly quieter than before. Some popular vendors still get a long queue. Grizzly is definitely one of them as far as I can tell. Really like the fact that a wide range of varieties are there so have pretty good choice for food and drinks.

Christchurch Farmers' Market
It’s always nice to visit the Christchurch Farmers’ Market at Riccarton Bush grounds. Today (Saturday 17 Dec 2022) was no exception.It was a special Christmas market. Perfect weather and plenty of stalls with a variety of things on offer meant that there were plenty of people enjoying the market.The stream, the music and the vibe in general makes it such a lovely experience for everyone.Photos show a glimpse.

Christchurch Farmers' Market
Lovely place my partner and I were fortunate to visit while it was open. So many great stalls with quality items. We most enjoyed the cheese mobile (not sure of it's actual name) but 50-100g of cheese is a perfect snacking amount.On top of this, there are a lot of seating areas amongst the grass, along the river as well as under trees.AND there is a fantastic podocarp forest preservation area right beside all this, allowing for 10-30 minute walks along the paths within. Sadly it looks like I did not take a single picture in this unique park :(

Christchurch Farmers' Market
Was raining when I went but had a decent amount of stalls open. More food stalls than fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. The homemade food were very tasty and definitely worth it.Would highly recommend visiting at least once.
