The worst experience I have had. Not to be trusted. It seemed like ha ha we ripped you off sucker".I purchased an item that did not have the functions I assumed it would. Straight away I contacted them. The response was "tough luck you should have asked." Maybe so but I didn't as assumed that the functions would not be an issue. Any reasonable retailer would have been more understanding especially since the device was already 2nd hand and there were no issues with use or damage.I will never have anything to do with them and nor should you as their arrogant high handed attitude absolutely stunk and still stinks."

Bought some speakers from the Listening Post. They didn't have the exact ones I wanted so upgraded me to a better speaker set.Communication was prompt and clear. Delivery was well organized and very quick (2 days).Would definitely buy from here again.

Came here today looking for some advice and, unfortunately, found the guy in the shop to be very condescending and rude. I enquired about a used amplifier, that it turned out had been repaired, and tried to discuss (as part of my thinking process around whether to buy the item) the pros and cons of the 90 day (vs original 2 year) warranty. I thought that the price reduction (only ~25%) wasn't enough and he was quite rude/low-level aggressive in bluntly stating that I was either happy with it or I wasn't. There was absolutely no need for that.The whole experience, which included more subtle things than the one example given above, was not great and I will find somewhere else to buy my audio equipment from in future.

I visited the Listening Post one time a couple of months ago, and had a very enjoyable time chatting with Michael and listening to some wonderful Martin Logan loudspeakers. I failed to faint when I heard the price, they were more than worth it.Last week, I celebrated a modest windfall by purchasing a Blue sound Vault 2i. Michael clearly explained the technical aspects. I have since loaded half my cd collection, and the beautiful sound and ease of use are amazing. I am very happy with my purchase.

These guys are awesome. I went to LP for a custom multi-room AV solution for a new build. I dealt with Manu throughout with multiple visits to the store, and he was very patient, and informative with excellent ideas for how to go about it. They blended some of my existing gear with new items they supplied, did the pre-wire and installation/fit off and came in on budget. Highly recommend.

Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff, and an excellent range of products to suit most budgets. Ordered a pair of Q Accoustics speakers, and was surprised with faster than promised delivery to my door. Give them a call before you make a purchasing decision if you aren't 100% certain - it could save you a lot of trouble and unnecessary expense.

The website shows items as Guaranteed in stock" and "Available now in store" but this is not the case. When I called to discuss purchasing the item I was told there is no stock and the sales person then tried to up-sell to a more expensive product. Very disappointingFoolishly went back and ordered some cables from these guys

Superb deal on the AV receiver I purchased. Shipped from Christchurch store to Lower Hutt at no cost. Item (secondhand) was in immaculate condition. Goes great.
