The westport district health nurses have been absolutely amazing, but in particular nurse Jo and Alison have been beyond amazing with their kindness and just very gentle it made the world of difference for me and my anxiety.

My wife and I were traveling when she developed a urine infection, we needed some Ural, a non prescription alkalinser which they had. They refused to provide without a doctors consultation preferring to leave my wife with severe pain. This was on a Sunday so no chemists were open. So much for being about health and caring for people, ridiculous!!

Never had a problem, just the waiting time sometimes is way too long ,nurses are very professional.The only thing about going here is you get a different doctor everytime , I try to keep the same but most of them are temporary .

Normally not to bad.But recently had changed how to get to see a doctor.Unless your bleeding out or missing an arm. Can take weeks to see one unfortunately.

No English signage in the new Medical Centre Reception, & other signage is in Maori first, then English in smaller writing below it! Feel sorry for the majority of elderly European people who have sight impairment & have to hobble right up to the sign to read it! Smacks of political bullcrap & you are pandering to it!
