Writting on behalf of my mum’s experience today 22 Nov…shop opens at 9am, the young girl never arrived at the shop til 9.14am and was no help. Wouldn’t order in the phone she was told was instock after ringing the Spark Timaru number the day before to check they had instock before driving into town (as live out of Timaru) Disappointed as they use to go out of there way to be helpful!

Not impressed with customer service, got lied about plans and best options. I'm in rural area and wanted to get better broadband in house (using hotspot only b4). So I paid 300 for a modem, got their best plan of 120 Gb was told if runs out and need more just buy extra. Changed my daughter plan which was unlimited to a smaller plan bcaz new in house broadband. When broadband data finished got messages on my phone only and I bought more but sometimes not straight awai with few hours difference or next morning. I don't keep phone with me all the time. In 2 weeks only my daughter phone only got a bill of $1100 for using extra 3GB!!! THATS THEFT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!. Why once she finished her plan was not made aware of that and the new super expensive data??? Or why data was still available 4 her to use if she used all data available on her plan??? If broadband data is finished that's it we can't use anymore. Same should be on any plan. I bought a SET plan but i got charged 25 times more without to be announced about that! Super angry and disappointed about local staff who lead me into this also about telling me that I'm not allowed to look at their computer screen showing my plan!

For only the second time I felt like a valued customer after visiting the store today. Have been a spark customer since 1959 when it had a different name so well done the stars person in the timaru store thank you
