Did the coastal walk this morning. The grass on some sections of the trail is high, but you’ll see the path. In general is well taken care and well signalized. The lookout worth it!

Loved this campground only downside its a whole lot of slopping arears which made it hard to find a good area, bathroom and toilet are in good distance no private shower just a shower head in the front of the toilets facing the road and beach. There's some really great trails to hike good for kids gives them something to do. The view from here is so beautiful.

This is a beautiful part of the Coromandel coast. It would not be suitable for people with mobility issues to access. While the toilet facilities are long drops, they are clean and well maintained. Lots of lovely walks and bike tracks.

lovely lil campground worth the effort to get to. beach is rocky and you need to take care getting out but the water is lovely and safe once you're in deep, hardly any current and pretty flat too. we had a really great time

Tapapakanga Regional Park
Beautiful regional park with amazing view of the ocean and Coromandel Peninsula. The natives trees are great foregrounds for your landscape photos. The farmland on the other side is scattered with sheep. 100% clean and green. The walk is not too hard and it was quite enjoyable. I didn’t see the toilet at all.

Beautiful park with amazing views of the Coromandel. Unfortunately, the coastal track has not been maintained well. Grass was up to head-height in sections and track was barely visible for most of the way. Bring your weed wacker!

Definitely worth a visit if you just want to get out of Auckland Stunning park.I wish it was a well kept secret but the word is out.I think Splore put this park on the map so to speak. Great views to Coramandel, there are various campgrounds, people fish here with long surfcasting rods. Brilliant spot for photos, selfies, flying a drone. Safe for swimming, rocky underfoot in parts. Plenty of parking, toilets available too. Note the sea view campground is further up the hill, seems a quieter spot for campers, I dont think there is a direct view to the sea though. Bring a picnic, a camera, and enjoy this slice of paradise.
