Truely abysmal, and Paul the owner is a bloated, grumpy, extremely unprofessional bully. Responds to genuine invoicing queries with threats of legal action and debt collectors.Only provide terms and conditions via email after jobs are booked, so these are not legally part of a “contract” under nz law. Got told that “it doesn’t work like that”(even though it’s actually the law), and that “99% of people don’t have any issue with it”, as though getting away with it makes it legal.Cancel the job - they will still invoice you. Got called a “time waster”, and referred to as “people like you who don’t pay their debts” by Paul during his ranting when we queried the invoice. Constantly talked over me and appeared to believe that customers who query his dodgy business practices can be bullied into submission. Warning - Paul will invoice you for any time spent looking at a job, even if you then choose not to use laser.Steer well clear - there are dozens of other electricians who will provide genuine customer service and aren’t run by such an entitled, bad tempered, bully.UPDATE: - the response below from laser to this genuine review is simply further evidence of their unprofessional approach to customer service. The distortion of facts in the reply is a very weak attempt to divert attention from the fact that Laser Electrical Remuera is managed by an entitled dolt. There was absolutely no “yelling” on my part whatsoever. The only raised voice in the discussion with Paul & the receptionist was Paul’s as he talked over me.The incorrect claim made in regard to contract law in the response further demonstrates the shonky approach that this management of this business takes towards customers. The terms & conditions were provided less than 24hrs before the site visit, therefore providing cancellation of job without incurring a charge would be impossible in reality. This is clearly unethical. Another false claim is that I ran a cable myself and had an unqualified person “connect it”. In reality, no new cable was required. No “expertise” at all was provided by Laser Electrical, although Aaron, who we dealt with in person, was indeed polite, courteous and respectful. The issue doesn’t stem from the staff. . The issue with Laser Electrical is directly related to the entitled, belligerent attitude of the franchise owner.I have done no “name calling”, and have simply described reality - Paul absolutely is a bloated, grumpy, extremely unprofessional bully. That is not an insult, it’s simply an accurate description.As previously stated, save yourself the grief and steer well clear of this franchise.

Used this company for a while until the last job, won't be returning and would definitely not recommend.

Very responsive - friendly & called tenant soon after I made contact to arrange a suitable time to complete the jobReliable - completed the job as schedule, provided understandable information about job completed on invoiceActual cost was slightly over guesstimate - hard to know actual cost until job underway.

Easy to book and get the work done promptly. Great work by the electrician sorting out the issues. He ensured that the power was back on and working before he left. Resolved some other issues too.

Laser Remuera are absolutely my 'go to' for anything I need an electrician for. I've used them many times over the past decade to do work at my rental properties and at my own home. I've always had exceptional service and great communication from them. I highly recommend this company.

The light fitting and new wall switch was well done. Laser's response was fabulous, can't fault the speed of the booking and job, and the friendly person on the phone. The 2nd visit the old light was moved to above the bathroom mirror. I'd requested a separate wall switch for this but guess it must have been lost in translation when I phoned. Over all though, lovely people to deal with. :) Thanks and hope you have a lovely Xmas break.

We didn't have hot water and an electrician came the following day. All the electrical points were checked over to get to the source of the problem. The service was thorough, fast and efficient.

great services over the phone. Was emailed confirmation of date and time and Pera (Electrician) was on time and lovely to deal with. House was tidy when i got home and he took away all the disconnected appliances which was great.
