Good Dog Training

Would not have the dog I have today without the amazing work Ryan and his team did . She was a absolute nightmare and now a dream well as much of a dream a bull terrier can be. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I had a one on one training session with Abby. Her approach was calm, clear and so respectful of me and my dog. She clarified so many behaviours and gave me a really good understanding of how and why to do things.She was able to work so well with my rescue dog who had some difficult behaviours, and gave me the tools to succeed. She was so encouraging and clear with her guidance, not just with my dog but with me. I was so frazzled and nervous coming into the training session but I left feeling so confident in myself and my dog that we'd be able to see positive results together. Abby is a really excellent trainer, I highly recommend her services!

Ryan & the team are absolutely amazing!! They were my absolute last hope for my dog harley, he was very anxious and super reactive towards people and other animals to the point where I was unable to take him for a walk. I was struggling and reached out to Ryan and the team who within weeks had been able to give harley a better life through there training programme not only this but they helped me to understand how to read my dogs body language and create a bond like no other!!! Both myself and harley are living an incredible life together now, I can take him absolutely anywhere. I still send him to good dog training for daycare and overnight camps as he loves being there sooo much! Couldn't speak any higher of this incredible team who have a love and understanding of dogs like no other!

Five stars aren't enough. I cannot put into words just how helpful all the staff at Good Dog Training really are. They have been beyond helpful with my two dogs. I would highly recommend them to absolutely anyone and everyone who'll listen.

My beautiful Golden Retriever had been attacked whilst at a kennel in Cambridge. This event led to him becoming fearful, aggressive and very unpredictable which meant we could no longer take him on beach walks, etc and trust that there would be no incident. We tried several other dog trainers to no avail. Finally and luckily we came across Ryan at Good Dog Training and he helped us and our dog. We were able to take him out on walks, etc and understand his behaviour and recognise signals when he might become anxious. I one hundred percent support Ryan and his team because without them we had all but lost our furry companion!!

Awesome experience! Toa is so much more chilled and we can finally enjoy going for walks and other places. The whole team is so helpful and awesome to deal with. I can strongly recommend it. Special thanks to Abby, Amber and Ryan, you guys have been helping us a lot!

SPCA are investigating this place for abuse so please people do not bring your babies here, especially not leaving them for long periods. Ive just read your reply to my review. I am not and have not ever complained or slandered any other dog trainer. So get your facts right! You are the first and the ONLY one i have ever complained about because i have EVIDENCE from numerous people in writing as well as photos, to what your company has done to their dogs. If you are so fantastic, why is there an ongoing investigation by SPCA if this is just slander and untruths? Many have complained to SPCA. The huge amount of people that commented on that fb post was alarming. You made sure my post was deleted but you werent quick enough. Finding the right dog trainer was really important to us and our family. We chose Ryan & GDT because of their extensive knowledge & specialisation in dog behaviour.What was most interesting for me as a client, was how our dogs interpreted our behaviour as humans/owners. GDT has helped us understand what our dogs require to build a happy & trusted relationship which like anything is built on constancy by us as humans/owners.Without Ryans & GDT experience I really don't know how we would have been able to achieve this. Our dogs are happier, our children are happier & most of all so are our dogs.Thank you GDT, 5 Stars
