Walking back from the art museum, saw a line of people ordering and couldn't resist.... and glad we stopped! Ordered a C3 large (20) pork / cabbage dumplings with sweet and spicy soup in medium spice for $16NZD takeaway. 10 minutes later our large bowl was ready and nicely sealed with plastic wrap (just the container and chopsticks, no bag, no spoon). You can see them making the dumplings as you order and the quality was great, cooked just right and loaded with goodness. Much better bargain (about half price) than the fancy hipster dumpling place at the corner. Give it a go!

This is a nice noodle place! The lone waitress was super proactive and helpful. When she noticed a customer fanning herself, she said she'd turn on the aircon and came back a few minutes later to check that the customer was indeed feeling cooler! I had D4 (Two classic flavour crispy and soft pork mince with magic sauce). I personally prefer the noodles to be firmer but the texture/taste was good. While it was supposed to be a dry dish, there was enough sauce to make it a slurpy delight. The chilli level I asked for was medium and to my Asian taste buds, it was just right. Tingled the tongue but no lasting after effects! The menu is quite extensive and not very expensive, so there should be something for anyone looking for noodles or a bowl of hot soup! Serving size is good too!

I’ve been meaning to review this place for a while, because it consistently manages to nail the rare trifecta of good, inexpensive, and quick. Sometimes I want hot and sour dumplings in a bowl as big as my head, and Eden Noodle is there, waiting. The vegetarian noodles soup base is solid too, and love the pickled cabbage.(Also, at the end of last year a pushy Church group tried to come inside and “””serenade””” the tiny store as a captive audience but the waitress at the time was absolutely not having it. She was the hero we needed, and I enjoyed my dumpling bowl the size of my head in peace. A+ dumplings/noodles and bouncer skills.)

Generally, dumplings with spicy sauce (for cabbage or chives, need to top up $1) and Dandan noodles are great.

This was my second time to visit here. Based on my first experience, I decided not to order any food with spicy here since the hot level is beyond my tolerance so I ordered wide noodles with braised beef slice in the soup (E12 on the menu). I was expecting great things but it was honestly pretty average. I was even a bit disappointed because the noodles was overcooked. The texture of the noodles wasn't good. Simply said, it was too soft. The soup is very bland, it could use more herbs and spices. At least braised beef slice is great. My parter ordered Sichuan pita bread with steam beef (I1 and I2 on the menu), and we were both disappointed too. Pita bread is quite small and nothing special. Steam beef is ok-ish but a little bit dry. For anyone who don't usual eat hot spicy food like me, you have other better choices for Chinese style noodles.

Friendly staff and lots of options. Husband really liked the beef noodle soup though I found it a tad salty (thus 4 not 5 stars) but noodles had that firm bounciness! Plentiful portions.

The quality of food is pretty low - they put too much fat and spices into the meals they serve. Service is good. The food tastes extremely spicy. Wouldn't recommend to the guests who got used to western cuisine

I think it's better than the one in Albany. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is always good and affordable... Really delicious btw. Clean and good vibe. Love that the menu is already available upon entering the establishment. Difficult parking though.

Great value for the price. I had 20 pork wontons with seafood topping for $16 and they were so good! The lady working there was friendly as well.Would recommend!

It was as great as it was a year ago. A gold star for consistency! So yummy dumplings with the shell just melting in your mouth and the filling was very tasteful and meaty.Quick and nice service. You could choose from different sizes and spiciness level. Overall, a great eatery and excellent value for money.
