We had an okay breakfast here.I got fried eggs with sourdough toast and bacon which was okay.My partner got poached eggs with gluten free 'toast' which was pretty dreadful. The bread came untoasted and by the time it was toasted the eggs were then cold.It cost us $55 for the breakfasts and a coffee each.The staff were very friendly and were apologetic about the food.

Nice but crowded with too many tables. Fresh and tasty muffin. Mocchacino was more a hot chocolate. Coffees too expensive, 7,50NZD for a one size Mocha tells you the business model approach

I have no idea how this isn’t the highest rated establishment in Franz Joseph. I got the bacon and eggs with sourdough and a side of pancake and everything was simply outstanding. The latte was the best I’ve had in New Zealand and we’ve been here over 2 weeks. We will be coming back tomorrow before heading out of town. Simply outstanding!

Enjoyed breakfast with the good range of pies. Had a go with the venison pie- it was simply delicious. Couldn't bring myself to try the Hare pie though. The full of beans breakfast was great!

Friendly staff and decent food. I'd go back. However, If you order the Eggs Bennie ask for non-wilted spinach. The wilted stuff ain't good. At all.Also tables are sticky but that seems to be an issue with most cafe's in the country.Nice iced coffee.

A solid breakfast stop in Franz Josef offering a range of tasty breakfast options. We had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the eggs and bacon, followed by a scone with jam and butter. Accompanied by two flat whites (these were delayed but staff were very apologetic and fixed this quickly when they realised they had been missed). Busy popular breakfast location with hard working staff and reasonably priced. Would recommend if staying in the area for a heart breakfast!

A large selection of cakes, savory pastry items and options on the menu. The milkshake tasted fresh and was grande sized (you could also get them to go).

Filling breakfast and pretty popular. Slightly pricier but expected given the towns popularity for glaciers. Could have used other breads instead of plain loaf bread for eggs Benedict to absorb the runny egg yolk and hollandaise sauce but overall taste was pretty good. Full breakfast was filling as well
