Wish that calling them was easier. Every Avis phone number that I get given by the call centre staff when I asked for a direct contact just brings me back to the same call centre. The call centre staff also called the Dixon St depot for me about 3 times today as I needed to get a car returned, but no answer... I hope my boss doesn't get mad at me for this

I was just dropping off my rental car, but staff member was very polite and handover was very quick. Extremely busy, so had to just leave the car at the front of the garage, but staff member said this was all fine.

Usually good but be warned if you don't take out their extra insurance.The one time I don't take extra insurance and they charged me extra four days later and didn't even bother to tell me they had done so.When I asked for the reason, apparently it was as I'd not filled the fuel tank, when in fact I had explicit photo evidence to show I had (as I always do!).

These people are thieves. Not only they are in the most expensive ones but they gave me a car that had a faulty petrol hatch. So I could not refill the car.When I told them the problem they said it is okay as long as it was showing full tank which it was since I had barely traveled with the car.To my surprise they withdraw more than 60 dollars from my account a couple of days later without even bothering to tell me.Never going back there again.

Very professional staff. When we went in the gentleman who served us was very nice and clear. super helpful.Next to us was a lady who was very upset over an issue that wasn't Avis's she was just looking for someone to yell at. The service she recieved was amazing. I don't know how the worker held such a straight face and was able to keep answering her questions. He should be commended for thje amazing customer service he gave her even though she was getting angry at him.

The car was wonderful and pick in Hamilton city went seemlessly, but drop off at the Dixon branch in Wellington was frustrating and confounding. There is only one bay for after hours return. Us and two others tried to return simultaneously and it was a nightmare trying to find space for everyone. Eventually a security person came to move the cars in but it severely impacted the experience of the rental.
