I didn’t think we’d ever find cheese options like you do in Europe on our trip, turns out I was going to the wrong places. We picked up some truly special finds made across the North Island. Decent coffee and lovely customer service too!Conveniently the shop is just by the turn off to Martinborough, we grabbed enough for a platter and took it to our accommodation after picking up a bottle of red at a wine tasting that afternoon, bliss.

What a delightful find! Couldn't resist exploring the amazing range of not only cheeses but so many other gourmet treats. Very helpful pleasant staff. A must to visit when in Southern Wairarapa.

Well worth stopping at this fabulous cafe, cheese factory (has a viewing window), deli. Beautifully displayed store. Incredible selection of cheeses. Great coffee & menu. Cheese scones were the best we have ever eaten (& we know our scones from all over NZ). Indoor or outdoor seating. Friendly young staff were very efficient. We will certainly not be able to drive past here again!

Loved this place, has a 'ye old times' feel to it and it's freakin great. Lots of different condiments and such. Finally found a chilli goat cheese and it's fantastic. Lovely guy who runs it, when he saw we loved Mr Cheesey, he showed us around the shop next door, which is a shop I recommend if you have a soft spot for the curious things in life. Glad I missed a turn off and ended up in Featherston

Amazing cheese ! We chose the pecorino, a delicious smoked cheese, and a brie. All three were very good, diverse tastes, excellent with some red wine, walnuts, baguette and salad !

We stopped in our way to Palmerston North. We got to the shop about 9.40am. I had mis-read opening hours and he wasn't meant to be open until 10am. Thankfully, he was in the shop and the door was unlocked. We purchased some cheese, smallgoods, biscuits etc and have thoroughly enjoyed everything. Highly recommended.
