Best Western Braeside Rotorua

Absolutely loved staying at this place, we loved the private spa with a enclosed space. That staff are lovely people and so kind and happy to fullfil any needs we had. The room was spacious and we had a fully stocked kitchenette including full cooking facilities and tea and coffee needs, they also gave us milk on arrival. Skyline is just across the road and so is Rotorua monigolf. Eat St is a 5 minute drive and so is the shopping mall.

We stayed at Braeside for 2 nights, in an executive suite with spa. This was an accessible room with a kingsize and a single bed. The beds are comfortable and the room spacious, The place is very clean and the service is excellent and friendly. We couldn’t sleep because of snoring, so we asked for a space with separate bedrooms for the next night, The kind manager gave us a discount on the upgrade and was happy for us to move immediately. We had an excellent sleep on night 2. Again, here too, the beds were excellent and the place was very clean, there was plenty of space for the three of us. The motel is across the road from The gondola, in a quiet side street, you could easily walk to the gondola from there. there is also a lovely swimming pool on site at 33°C, I had a great and comfortable swim in the morning, in the middle of winter. It’s a lovely quiet setting with a picturesque stream on the boundary of the property. Highly recommended, and the price was very reasonable.

Location provides easy access to all the attractions in Rotorua and the surrounding area. Rooms are functional, but the bathroom of the unit we stayed in had one of the smallest wash basins ever. Still did the job though. Far enough away from the bad egg smell so this will not be a problem.

Location is excellent and its right opposite the Skyline.Staff are friendly.Unfortunately, the shower was not clean and full of hair from previous residents.The cooking pan was burned, black and couldn't use it.Price is very high for a 3 stars motel.

This place is perfect for those into the wines and action of Rotorua. Right opposite is the Skyview Gondola which will take you up to the top of the mountain, looking out over Rotorua. From here there are wine tastings, a restaurant, luge, zipline and walking trails. This is all within 5 min walk of the motel.The service here was excellent as well. Umbrellas provided for wet weather and recommendations for good places in town. Will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. We absolutely loved the private outdoor spa, that we could access privately from our room. We listen to the river and enjoyed a nice drink in the spa.

only used the restaurant, which welcomes non residents. This place is a hidden gem. Great value, real, food prepared on-site. Welcoming husband and wife double act. Small but varied menu which changes frequently. One of the best places for dinner in Rotorua.

The staff were friendly, and the place was spacious. Our rooms were dated and could definitely use a refresh, but they served our purposes. The room service breakfast was convenient and tasty. I'm not sure I would stay here again, as it was a bit pricey and needs a remodel. However, it is well-situated for sightseeing in the Rotorua area.

Great place to stay, was close to all the activities popular in rotarua, walking distance to the luge and zorb ball and rught next to the trick art gallery & deer museum. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful either accomadating our needs. The breakfast bagel was derived right on time and was nice enough. Would have prefered some eggs or something but was still niceThe kids enjoyed the playground, the games room was locked so we didn't go in there but I'm sure we could have got the key if we needed to.There is usually a restaurant but it was closed the day we were there.The pool and spa were both nice the pool slightly heated so made it swimmable at this time of year and I liked how they supplied separate pool towels

Don’t get me wrong, this hotel is great! The hotel staff was nice and really friendly. The beds were comfortable and helped me get a great night sleep. On the contrary, the bathrooms are a little small. I would recommend staying if you are looking to find a place to stay to tour Rotorua!
