Love it here Basic accommodation but comfortable cabins, good beds and nice staff. Cafe made a good coffee and had good menu.

Glentanner Aerodrome
A lovely place with beautiful views, immaculate bathrooms/showers, friendly staff and nice setting among the trees to camp. We enjoyed the birds here and saw a Yellow Golden Pheasant. The cost to stay here is a bit pricey ($50/2 people) and the ground is rough in many of the sites. Also, this has a helicopter facility and on nice days they're flying regularly from 9am-6:30pm which is a bit disruptive. Overall though we had a nice stay.

Lovely chalet with fab views onto the lake and mountains. Chalet generally well equipped although one teeny quibble was that a bigger saucepan would have been nice!

Came across this sealed airstrip on a walk to the lake. A real surprise as I thought it was helicopter only (which operates continuous scenic flights)
