Weather is bad but the site is perfect! It has water, clean toilet, shower (kiwicash tag and pay), power for phone and kitchenware (kiwicash tag and pay)! Solid shelter provides a lot of convenience in a rainy day.

Lovely small town on the way to New Plymouth. Loo - shower if you purchase a cash key. Fresh water - gray water only drain. Small cabin with books and small kitchen - table with bench seats. Two picnic tables. Not suitable for those of you with large rigs.

Cool spot in town to camp, few doors down from the Police station and abutting neighborhood backyards.(Overhead lights might keep you awake)Nice communal kitchen area and toilets with mosaic on the walls. Donations by the men's toilets. Walking distance to cafe

Great little stopover spot ... well maintained with toilets, water and really lovely kitchen/dining area with power .... council funded with volunteer custodians ... an absolutely great spot. And there is a well-stocked craft shop and a gallery/shop in the village just a 2 minute walk away!

Great place to camp with a tent. Lots of grass to stay on, and only $5 per car per night. Toilets are very clean and the shelter is great for cooking and eating. Could use the power outlets for electricity, as well as a water kettle. Free water outside, but if you want to use the kitchen faucet and the showers, you have to use KiwiCash.
