Great Rentals Ltd

We had a great experience with Great Rentals. The camry we hired was nice to drive, roomy enough for our suitcases and we received good customer service. We opted to take out the extra insurance coverage so we felt at ease when driving around. If you're worried about existing damages i recommend taking your own photos before you leave the yard. We would highly recommend them.

Initially I was impressed by the price.However, upon entering the vehicle, every drive was in mandarin - no issue, but give me instructions to change language? I can deal with this.The worst issue, I left my phone in the vehicle, a simple mistake. I rang them; “there is no phone in the vehicle”. Obviously I’m a touch concerned.I go on ‘find my iPhone’ - it’s in their car park. I phone them “there is no phone here”.I then take a taxi to their depot where I’m told ‘it’s must be on the floor, it’s not in our car’. I search constantly then I activate the ‘find my iPhone’ alarm and guess what…the same car immediately appears around the corner with a sounding alarm and mysteriously the phone was ‘in the boot’.Avoid these scammers at all cost!!!

They had me pay 250$ for a scratch that I repaired perfectly. And probably they are not going even to repair it because I already did.You can see the photos of the scratch and the photo of my rapair, which cost me 100$. Bad price, 350$ for nothing.By the way I gave them evidence that it was a lady who made the scratch with her car and they did not even contact her to have the money from her.

Nice experience with car rental. Staffs do free pick up from airport, got 2018 rav4 almost new, vehicle condition is perfect ,check in and return get done fast. Will certainly use again if travel Auckland.

Excellent experience. A convenient pick-up from the airport by the shuttle, fast check-in process. Car is tidy inside and in good technical condition - runs well. Great price/quality ratio.

Negative reviews here seem unfair! Not sure how people can complain about having to pay for damages- standard practice!Friendly service no problems- I don’t think they offer car insurance so you have to pay up and claim for any issues. I lost my iPad at the airport and the guys did all they could to help.Other than that it’s a well priced service - yes, it’s not as convenient as the competitors directly at the airport, but they’re likely to be more expensive.

Great place to get a Rental in Auckland. Smooth experience flying in and getting picked up by the shuttle and driven for about 10 mins and the car was in great condition too. No issues at drop off. Will rent again.
