If the weather is good, stand outside for spectacular views. Get a cabin worth it if the boat is full & bad weather hits. If they have lots of animal movers on-board stay downwind, could be smelly near back of boat (where cars are parked).Have food, drinks, tvs to watch. Free bus to town when arriving at Picton.

Canceled my crossing by txt message. Message advised to go on website to rebook, but when you did the site said ring. After holding on for an hour gave up. We had to leave our car and caravan in North Island for a month. Cost us a fortune to get them and us to get home

Horrible people!I have never ever seen anyone so disrespectful in my life.His drivers keep parking in front of my car park so I asked them to please stop as they block my entrance to my own office and I got all the insults from the book.I complained but I feel no one is doing anything about it and I’m terrified as those drivers are always coming back.If they treat me like this and I’m not even a customer, imagine dealing with them as a customer.Be mindful if you do business with them as I’ve seen the worse of them.

Fantastic to deal with. Mainly freight operations with passengers rather than other way round with Inter Island. No huge queues and only limited amount of passengers so they're very easy to deal with. Highly recommended and have Cabins on-board.

My one peeve is backpackers walking on and lying end for end on every available bit of seating to sleep. Vehicle owners get an uncomfortable hard seat if they are lucky, standing if they arent.
