What can I say…the hosts Andy and Lynn are the absolute best! We had many a good chats and I even extended my stay from 1 to 3 nights as I really felt at home there. The rooms were extremely clean and with all you might need for a good night’s sleep & shower, the kitchen large and had everything you could imagine (even baking equipment!), other guests friendly as heck and the location superb. If you stay in Paihia, stay there and help out these awesome hosts!

We are a family of 5 and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped and also nice and clean. The hosts were great and helped with anything you needed. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and the wharf.

What a lovely visit! Lynn and Andy are wonderful hosts- kind, welcoming, and helpful! The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. A super walkable location too. It was very easy to walk to the beach and into town. The kitchen is well equipped. They also offer laundry service which was very helpful. 10/10 recommend for your trip to Paihia!

We had an amazing stay at the lodge! The room was super cozy, clean and comfy. The location is great with 5min to the beach and an easy, short walk to the centre and the wharf. Andy and Lynne were super helpful and friendly, providing good tips for the area :) there is also a nice cafe near the lodge, so you can have a brekkie nearby. Highly recommend visiting this place just for the sweetest owners already, and I hope to be back soon.

Andy and Lynn were fabulous, very helpful when the weather caused us to change our plans. Excellent location close to the centre of town. Spacious room and the central kitchen, lounge and outside seating were excellent. As everyone has been saying a very fair price for Paihia.

Highly recommended! I stayed there for three nights and it was perfect for me as a backpacker. The price is super fair. The accommodation is extremely central, close to the beach, quiet and the owners are very courteous and friendly. The accommodation offers a lot of space and is a great place to relax. Definitely a place I will come back to!

Great hostel with very friendly hosts. The room is a comfortable size with a sufficiently sized bathroom. Access to a big, well equipped kitchen. The lounge was also nice to have when it rained for a whole day during our stay. The parking was fine. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk to the town. Only thing I will mention is that the WiFi in the room sucked, it was pretty much unusable until we went downstairs to the kitchen, outside covered area or in the lounge when it then was good.

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights. Great location, lovely guests and hosts, clean accommodation with awesome on-site facilities. Thank you Andy and Lynne for looking after us! The hospitality and experience will not be forgotten. We loved our stay, we didn’t want to leave! We travelled from the Bay of Plenty of Katikati and staying here truly made us feel like home. See you both again in the near future! From Kata & the whānau! ❤️
