Silver Fern Rotorua Suites & Spa

I visited this place back in January. I had a great experience at this motel. The service was great, the room had a really nice interior and the location was perfect. You barely see the road and it was in a quiet location. I also want to thank the owner for putting me in room #7. As a French Canadian myself, I was delighted to have a room between a French Polynesian family and a man from British Columbia. When I was about to leave the motel, I met the Polynesian family first and I was glad to speak to French speaking people in a non French speaking country. That family had a 8 and a half year old daughter and she made my day. Then I spoke to that man from British Columbia and I told him that I was also a Canadian from Quebec. It was nice speaking to him. All in all, I definitely had a great time there with everything that happened there and I would definitely come back if I ever go back to Rotorua.

Another brilliant stay. The rooms and private pools are always brilliantly clean, modern decor, and comfy beds. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Also super helpful with a last minute change to my booking, which wasn't a problem at all. Our family will continue to stay here. Thank you

Excellent clean accommodation. Had a massage there too which was great ❤️

Had a suite upstairs.Friendly staff and management.Good parking spaces even for our visitors.Free washing machine use which was good.Rooms were clean beds were clean.Spa was perfect even thou had a timer to turn off at 10pm.

A very nice and relaxing accommodation to be in when staying a few days in Rotorua. A 5 minute drive to areas for groceries (Pak N Save, Countdown), food (Scope Cafe, RnM Sports Bar & Grill) and places of interest (Te Puai, Kaituna White Water Rafting meeting point, Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife).Staff were super nice, attentive and patient. I once went to the office for help and the female staff on duty was occupied on the phone. After only a short while, she gestured for me to hold on for a while, and went out of the office to call another staff to assist. I would have been all right waiting for her so I appreciated the effort she made in making sure I was attended to as quickly as possible.The hot tub is a plus. Spacious with strong jets. We spent our evenings soaking and enjoying the water jets.

Early Dec 2022. Stayed here n left some belongings behind they phoned me 1hour later just out of Auckland letting me know that they would send them to me... I ring them few weeks later happy to pick up n they dont know what im on about!! Mysteriously stuff gone...Real Honest place wont go back!!

The only reason i wouldn't give them 5 stars is due to the condensation in the bathroom and spa, there's no extraction fan so we found it wet and cold. The room was a perfect size, close to everything, helpful staff and loved the spa.

I booked two rooms for two people, they gave us a double bed with one room. They changed our room to a one room with a double bed and a fold out couch for the second person. NOT comfy at all for the price we paid!!I could feel the springs and the middle section had fallen thru.It was a work booking prebooked, (because we came from out of town).They asked for credit card details on arrival which I didnt have...I had to contact Management etc on a Sunday afternoon before we could move into room..No consideration". they knew prior we had prebooked they couldve let our Admin know when room was prebooked that we needed card details etc.Everywhere had been booked out otherwise I would have moved on..."

I chose the Executive Studio, expecting a nice and spacious room with a large hot tub. The Nespresso machine was a delightful touch. However, I'm uncertain if I received what I paid $260 for. In Room 2, the bathroom doorknob came off, and the toilet paper holder was both wobbly and rusty. Additionally, the rubbish bin in the bathroom hadn't been cleared (I understand it was fully booked and a busy time). While it might be considered an alternative to a tissue box, a pocket tissue was left in the bathroom.It was a bit disappointing that my stay didn't live up to my initial excitement, as I had hoped to indulge myself by choosing a somewhat luxurious option with this price tag.
