YAHOO! My favourite Asian supermarket is now in North Shore. Great specials this week and a lot more choice than the Henderson one. If you're looking for a very clean, tidy, well presented yet relatively affordable Asian supermarket, don't go elsewhere.Edit. Just be extra careful and double check your receipts because I've had them overcharged me a few times now. Not so much the computer prices being wrong but the cashier themselves double scanning items. Otherwise, it is still good.

Today we went to Golden Apple Archers Road. Found the place roomy wide aisle clean and modern and stocked very well with a good choice of asian grocery items, fresh meat and fish. Pricing was good. Very impressive. Only one suggestion we can make is the print of the shelf labels are small and hard to read. Slighly larger font size would be most helpful. The loyalty card scheme looks good with spend points earning cash.. We spent $123.96 and it was worth it. Will surely re-vist. Cheers. Tony

Loved it - especially the customer service, staffs are patient and helpful with Smile:)Heaps of carpark, shop is clean and well presented. There is a piano at entrance for you to perform. If they can put more category signs on each shelf, it would be better.Compared to other asian supermarkets in glenfield, this will be my fav one and definitely will come back.

I went here after a brunch, normally I always go to the Lincoln Road. It is clean and tidy unlike Tai Ping. This place is like a boutique grocery store. Hopefully they can maintain it. I found a very rare purchase which is fresh duck eggs, that's amazing. And the Cashback program is always worth it .

One of the more decent Chinese supermarkets in NZ has opened its North Shore branch, it seems prices are not as competitive as the one out west, but it is at least another option that's available to us. Neat and tidy, much better than the Tai Ping nearby.
