Thanks to Garrick at Studio OneWhat an amazing experience dealing with Studio One and thanks for answering all my many questions, I ended up with a beautiful martin and am so grateful for all the help and assistance in choosing. It is so refreshing having a shop like this in New Zealand and not having to import from overseas. Also love all the videos you can watch for each guitar and make an informed decision and watching Nicks playing is truly motivating. Thanks to Garrick and studio one team and I will be sure to be back when looking out in future to add to the guitarsenal.RegardsBrent

I just popped in spontaneously after seeing the sign on the street. Boy was I glad I did. Despite not really being in market for a new guitar, Nic was immensely generous with his time. He took me through the enormous range of vintage guitars, explaining the differences between the models, the manufacturers, and letting me have a good play on anything that tickled my fancy. I’ve always loved secondhand guitars and I’ll be buying my next one from these guys.

Incredibly happy with my purchase of my Edwina Ear trumpet Mic! It arrived in a couple of days and the price was extremely competitive had I bought it overseas and had it sent here.

Beautiful gear stems are made of! Finally an NZ supplier of Ear Trumpet Labs microphones. We have one and they look insanely stunning and sound great. There are a few guitars they have that are on my list of ‘needs’!Great communicators, service and awesome products. What more could you ask for?!

Found the guitar I so much wanted and which I couldn't find anywhere else (Guild F-512E Maple blond). It was available, ready to be shipped and at reasonable price and conditions. And more importantly: with great and swift support from Garrick. The guitar was shipped from New Zealand to Switzerland, it arrived in perfect condition, and what I received is what I expected (not always the case when buying online)! Well done and thanks again to the Studio 1 Vintage Instrument shop :-)

Studio 1 Vintage is awesome. Prewar Martin's and Gibsons and an impressive line up of high end dreadnought, OMs and small body guitars. Garrick is a great guy, passionate about vintage guitars and tone. I highly recommend Studio 1 Vintage to anyone serious about quality and tone. 10 out of 10!!

The range, quality, and variations in tone and feel of the guitars available at Studio 1 is mind blowing. I've been blessed with opportunity to play some of these beautys at Studio 1 home base on more than one occasion. Garrick is super knowledgeable and really passionate about tone and quality. Superb.

Falling in love with a guitar online and then trying to figure out how to get it to NZ, how much to pay, import duties etc is a painful process. Studio 1 do the hard work, bringing in a range of beautiful guitars and checking them as well as providing that important after-sales on your investment. They are helpful, informed and obviously love their job! A great addition to the NZ music scene.

Studio 1 is a world class store. Garrick was very accommodating and helpful. When dealing with instruments of this calibre, you need assurance and Garrick not only gave a money back guarantee, he sent the guitar to Australia for inspection from Jeff Mallia. He also gave me great prices on my vintage Martins as a trade. I am so happy with my purchase. I am the proud owner of a cracking 44 D-18. Buy with confidence and there’s also a good chance you will make a new friend. Truly one of the best vintage stores in the world.

Studio 1 & 1943 Gibson SJ Banner.Studio 1 have made accessibility to these instruments possible here in NZ. To be able to play old Martin's, Gibson's & premium Small shop Master Luthier built guitars is simply fantastic.Very easy, helpful & genuine to deal with makes the process nicely stress free so if you are looking for a great guitar, check em out.As for the 1943 SJ banner... I think my smile says it all. The same goes for the 1954 D-28.Both recently purchased from Garrick at Studio 1.Jim
