Lakewood Lodge

Highly recommend!!! My kids had a blast there. We were very impressed by the facilities, range of activities and the friendly and professional staff. They have created lasting happy memories for my children, Thank you.

My 3 children aged 10, 11 and 12 had a blast when they attended a lakewood lodge holiday camp for 4 nights. They went there not knowing any other kids and came out with some awesome friends! They loved the instructors, the food, the activites, everything! Didn't want to leave and were asking when they could come back! Thanks so much everyone at lakewood lodge for looking after our cherubs!

My son attended a two-day camp recently at Lakewood Lodge. He enjoyed all activities and even though he was among the older kids at 14, there was plenty to do and he enjoyed interacting with other kids as well as the great staff. Our children have gone to Lakewood Lodge at various points in their young lives and we've always been happy that they have been in safe hands enjoying the outdoors, whether it be climbing, kayaking, horse-riding and more. We live in the Waikato so we're used to outdoor life, but what's great about this place is it takes a lot of bookings from Auckland and some of these kids have never really spent time in the country or really done cool stuff in the outdoors. Lakewood Lodge and its great staff give these kids that opportunity to do it in a safe, structured, super fun environment. Highly recommend this place for the kids - and if you want a rural-flavoured break, with as many or little activities as you want lined up as a group of adults, they cover that off too. Great spot!

Lakewood Lodge is a fantastic place! My kids have been very lucky to go on the Adventure Camp and have also attended some day holiday sessions.There is a great range of outdoor activities such as kayaking, archery, horse riding and more. My boys are 13 and 9 and they both enjoy their time at the lodge. The staff are great with the kids, and they always rave about the food!When I picked them up from the Adventure Camp last school holidays the first thing they said to me was Can we go back next holidays?!!"Lakewood Lodge is located in a beautiful rural setting and has lots of farm animals as well. It's a great place for kids to get outside

I have had the pleasure of attending this camp 3 times now, and everytime I throughly enjoy myself. The activities are fun and challenging for the kids, and even the adults can enjoy some of them. The food is fantastic, not once have I thought I wouldn't be keen having that again. The staff are fabulous, friendly, and make your stay there a wonderful experience. In total I have spent 5 nights there. It's great seeing kids interacting with animals they have very seen before let alone touched or feed. All kids should get this opportunity.

Just finished a 3-days/3-nights camp at Lakewood Lodge, and we LOVED it! Despite the cyclonic weather conditions and an unavoidable cancellation of the most anticipated activity (horse-riding), the staff kept us entertained and comfortable throughout our stay.When asked if they'd like to return for a future camp, every one of our kids answered with a resounding YES!So kudos to the team at Lakewood Lodge! And thank you very much.

All three of my boys have camped at Lakewood Lodge over the years. It is such a great place and they all had positive experiences. Jeff and his team do an amazing job. Highly recommended.

Such a great place - our two boys have attended day sessions at the Lodge and absolutely loved it! There's a wide range of activities to suit all ages, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and experienced.We have also attended a large birthday gathering over a long weekend to celebrate with friends. Such an awesome spot to chill out and unwind, plenty of room for everyone to stay, and the use of the kitchen facilities was fantastic. Would definitely recommend - a really awesome location.
