I always stop here when walking out this way. They always have fabulous coffee and scones .Today I had a Reuben toastie which was absolutely delicious, very substantial and well worth the price.My friend said the same about her vegetarian toastie.I love this place. ..it's a cool little set up. The service is great and the views wonderful.Highly recommended.

I stopped at this delightful little cafe during a cycle trip from Napier recently. Service was friendly and prompt and I had a superb soy flat white and a rasberry bliss ball. Brown Dog use 'Soy Boy' soy milk which makes totally delicious coffee. I'd go back to The Brown Dog in a heartbeat.

My wife and I both believe that Holly's coffee is consistently the best coffee you'll get anywhere in the Bay. We travel most weekends to Haumoana to have her coffee.We take our coffees and either go and read by the beach for a couple hours, or we pack our thermal cups into our bikes saddle bags, head somewhere to drink them on one of the bountiful bike trails close by.

Such a cute little place to get your coffee fix. We camped close by and came here for coffee and something to eat. I had the açai bowl and that was delicious! A must try!
