It has been a few months since I have been here but after I have become more experienced in learning how to do nails and what is/isnt considered good practice I figured I would leave a comment. The ladies are nice and their designs are cute, just every time that I go here they don’t blunt the corners of their nail files (I am also a nail tech and this is just common practice) it is SO sharp that it cuts the sides of my skin and it even bleeds. I also bled from their drill while they were prepping my nail beds :(

Service here is professional and they do a thorough job, happy with my nails. However, there aren't many colours to choose from for gel manicure, they have a separate book where you have to pay $5 extra to choose out of these colours. This is very unfair, we are already paying a lot for gel manicure and then we have to pay $5 more for the nicer colours. Probably wouldn't go back unless they have better colours included in gel manicure price available.

You know when your nails looks so bad that it puts you in a bad mood? Well the girls at Rose Nails Spa not only fixed my nails, but also my mood! Cannot express in words how happy they made me by fixing and recommending what to do on my nails so that they get nice and strong again. In my last 6 months of travel through AU and NZ, I have never encountered such attention to detail before. Very sad that I cannot get them home with me to Germany!

Best nail place for locals in Auckland. Bookings are essential as Rose and her team often are booked out completely over the weekend. I’ve been going here for a couple of months now and the quality of the nail work is outstanding. I’ve never had an issue with breaking and the shape is perfect every time.One thing to note is not to expect same-day service if you’re a walk in. This is a local nail place and if you want fantastic nails, message them to book or risk being disappointed!
