A quick call to get a room for the night with our dog. No problem, kept the office open so we can get there to our room. Cheerful, helpful and made everything so easy.Great location close to get to where we need.The rooms are clean and value for the price paidWe will be staying againThanks

Large living space. But does need a little work done and outside could most certainly be cleaner. Feels like transitional living.

Friendly and very accommodating staff. Eaven had parking for our large vehicles and accommodated 4 of us in a one bedroom unit, with a pull out/sleeping couch, would highly recommend

Most courteous and helpful very pleasant staff.This motel is close to town, only 13 easy minutes walk, we would certainly stay here again if we come back.The rooms were clean and tidy, well appointed as expected, and the bed was first class, for a great nights sleep.The bed in this particular motel room we had, is the best bed that we have sleep in, in any hotel anywhere in the world, and that is saying something!There is plenty of car parking available.Only downside, the area metres down the road appears to be frequented by unemployed able bodied winz accommodated people, just loitering about, which is of concern.

5 stars for all of the 3.Of all the hotels/ motels I’ve called in wellington and hutt valley - Fernhill was the only one who appeared to have a proper accessible bathroom for my son and his requirements.Others promote they are but in fact, a wheelchair mat get in a room but that’s about it.So for that - book with confidence for my son, his young family and carer.

After being turned away from the hotel we had previously booked (with no apologies), we were feeling stressed. We crossed the road to see if there were any vacancies at Fernhill. They took us in with no issues and even provided a portacot for our baby. The room was very nice with a big king-sized (I think) bed and big open lounge space. It was perfect for us. Very affordable, too. We had a nice night in and were very grateful

Given this place a very low score due to the fact the room we stayed in was very tired and wasn't impressed with listening to other persons private ablutions. Very noisy and not at all private. Price wise very expensive.

Location was handy to where we needed to be.Rooms could do with a little attention here and there.Would be nice to have a sheet over the duvet inner..to act as a cover that gets changed with the sheets..eek!It was fine over all.
