SPCA Greymouth Centre

I adopted wee Felicity just over a week ago. She didn't have the best start in life before coming to the spca and we chose her because we fell in love with her when we saw her profile and wanted to give her a loving home. The first week she was frightened, hid and wouldn't engage, but with a lot of love and attention Felicity is now at this level of trust and security ❤

We have always gotten our furbabies from the SPCA in the different towns we have lived in and they could not be more helpful in adopting them

These guys are amazing, we adopted two beautiful fur babies during busiest season and have settled in very well. Oreo was a very anxious cat and now sleeps on me. Ash who was Blue star is adventurous and so loving talks a lot and his personality is so sweet. Thank you to the team looking after these special creatures.❤

This place is great. I got two kittens from here. I'm really glad they're is a place like this that will look after animals until they find a home.

Being a foster parent has been an amazing and fulfilling experience. I have had the opportunity to foster a few dogs and have even bottle-fed kittens for the SPCA. It has allowed us to see which animals best suit our home. This has brought Bolt into our lives, who we adopted this week as our missing link.

We adopted a kitten from the SPCA. We saw a lot of happy cats there. Very clean and tidy. And absolute friendly staff!Thanks for your good job you're doing.

Got my cat from here, she is beautiful and amazing. Extremely well behaved and playful. She was raised by one of their foster cares and they did an amazing job. Her name is Nori and she is 1 tomorrow!!!

Shocking - stole pets From where they live for no reason - then plastered all over facebook and breached my privacy to people who I dealt with in a previous career and so on- so just gave some bad people personal info they should not have about my location and personal business. The animals were all fine by the way so absolutely zero need for their harrassing me then sharing it as they did. Shame on these people for this. It is about as low as it gets. I hear they do this for money to other people as well. Chch spca fine and good - this is greymouth spca - totally unacceptable. I have been breeding persians on a small scale on and off for 12 years and made so many people happy - so these people had no right to have done this.They are to work with sick injured and neglected animals and none of these were. Shame to all of you there at this outfit. Do not ever do this to anyone again. This is just the start - I am now going to make sure you still do what you are there to actually do and thats not harrass good people and trap animals for days in torrential rain and freezing weather - they would have been absolutely terrified by your actions and harm. I am sickened thinking they were in traps in torrential rain and thunder and lightening over last days of storm- sickened by the level you went to.
