NHR Group - North Harbour

Used a truck they take pictures before and after you return i think it is good way to protect both yourself and them.The price on website was less than what you actually end up paying after they add kilometers and GST.

Awesomely friendly staff - really flexible - I was doing a house-move and time ran away from me and I couldn't get the truck back to them by 5 - no stress or drama, just dropped off the next morning and only paid an extra half day.Truck was in great condition too and so easy to drive (Isuzu 19m3 manual - no need for a special license, just normal car license - just don't bother using 1st gear unless you're comfortable double-clutching from 1st to 2nd gear (and it hauls from 2nd gear just fine).

So easy to deal with. Great experience. No hassles, in n out. Went with the 45m3 truck for a full 3 bed house n did the job.

Had such a great experience with NHR, their no cancellation fees was a life saver when moving days were changing. Couldn't recommend NHR more, and want to say thank you for their amazing service and professionalism.

We booked a People mover van well in advance for end of Dec 2022. The Company called me 2 days prior the booking day to confirm and take full credit card payment, which was fine. At that point I took the opportunity to confirm and ask AGAIN if everything was all fine with the booking. Then comes the day before the D day, the guy called me to advise the vehicle is no longer available due to Mechanical issues! So we were left high and dry, he tried to put us through to another company which had a similar vehicle available but was asking $1200 per day!!! Then North Harbour literally washed their hands off on the matter and just bad luck for us as a customer. Our view and as a customer is that a company as big as they are, North Harbour Rentals should have a contingency plan. Yes mechanical issues do happen but in this case, it was us, the customer who suffered in the end. Where was the contingency plan when any given vehicles breakdown etc? How do they manage their future confirmed bookings etc? And they did not even offer to reimburse the additional costs incurred for us -as a result of their utter incompetency. All we got was a full refund for the booking and sorry nothing more we could do for you. Beware, the future customers who are reading this... as per our experience, this company is totally unreliable and would not go the extra mile for customers. They only look after their own pockets $$$. Totally unacceptable and a waste of time dealing with this branch. Stay well away.

Fantastic experience with NHR. We hired a furniture trailer for the day and were impressed with their mega helpful customer service and their modern and clean trailers. They even phoned me the day before to say I could pick up the trailer earlier if I wanted to beat the traffic - amazing! I don't usually write reviews, but had an excellent experience with the NHR team. Will hire again absolutely!

When we dropped the truck off, the person working was the rudest person I have ever met! Spoke to us like absolute garbage all because the fuel wasn't well past the full" line. (Despite the fuel handle clicking when it finished when we initially filled up. He demanded us to go back up to the gas station and fill it again "until it was overflowing"??? When we did that
