We spent a lot of money on a spectacular piece of artwork a few years ago when we last visited. It has pride of place in our house here in UK. We would certainly visit again next time we are in New Zealand.

This is a small, uninspired museum. It is free to New Zealandrrs, but the $20 per person for non-residents isn't worth it. The architecture is lovely, but you can see that from the outside. The surrounding park and plantings are well worth the visit.
