The Candy Shop
One of our friends recommended this place. We were there for lunch but only tried Prawn burger and the dumplings. I loved the prawn burger, the prawn patty was crispy outside and still juicy inside. But the dumplings lacked flavour. There are so many other dishes that I'd like to try. Will definitely go back.

I was initially surprised that I couldn't get actual candy here, but after a few moments I managed. The food here is pretty good as were the warm drinks. A very relaxing atmosphere is also a big plus.

We've been meaning to try The Candy Shop for such a long time and we finally did it today and it is really great.Their coffees are full of flavor and the food we had was spot on. The scampi pasta was one of the best we had.We ordered omurice with pork belly on a side so my son can have it but, although it was cooked to perfection, the porkbelly was tasteless. Maybe it was meant to be eaten only combined with the omurice (I feel that's the case). All in one, great place and I cannot recommend more!

This restaurant is undoubtedly an amazing one! We came for my birthday and what an amazing experience, from start to finish everything was perfect. Loved the Egg bene. So delicious. I'll be back with my partner for sure!

Very nice restaurant both food and decorBibimbap really delicious must try itFry chicken is really delicious tooWe will back next timeWe come here second time because feel nice before. But this time so disappointed. Firstly the food size is less than before. We order 4 dishes 2drinks not enough to 3 people. Secondly the rice still raw not cook well and still hard inside. The last why so different to the last time we come before 2 months especially the flavor!

Food was pretty good. Prawn burger was amazing but the Korean fried chicken had too much batter and too much sauce. Fries were great.Asahi was cold and very refreshing but overpriced. $12 from the tap for what seems to be a 330ml pour. Even if it was an NZ pint at 425ml, it would be ridiculously priced.Service here is what completely ruins this place. The service is completely non existent despite seeing 6 floor staff casually walking around and 2 owners sitting on their laptops. The place WAS at capacity but the staff still had absolutely no urgency or intention to check on tables, clear tables, check waters, take second drinks orders etc. The staff would routinely just mosey past tables that had dirty plates on them and would not clear until a table would eventually settle the bill. Every table looked noticeably irritated by this service so the atmosphere suffered and was a little edgy.

Nice brunch located at New Market. I really enjoyed my waffle and chicken with ice cream. Staff are friendly and attentive.

Food - The fried chicken at the candy shop is like a segregated chicken that has been heated in the microwave, and the rice cakes are hard.GO To Eat Taxas Chicken.Waffles are also bought directly from the supermarket and heated up a bit. If you want to eat waffles, you can go to the coffee shop!No recommend food cause never go back !Service-Asian girls with short hair are really quite full of impatience. If you want to leave work early you can tell your boss or choose not to come to work. From ordering, serving to the final payment. Acts like someone owes her $50 million.
