Rarawa Beach Campsite
Very basic campsite and a long walk to the beach, the toilets also hadn't seemed to have been emptied for a while. We still enjoyed our stay as Rarawa beach is beautiful but not the best campsite we've visited in the Northlands

Primo spot, lovely beach and hosts. The toilets are cared for but very tired, an upgrade by DOC would be great.

Incredibly beautiful shell beach. If the sun shines at the right angle on the beach, the whole beach glitters pink. Really breathtaking!

Nice campground, 8$ pp (adult). You pay in an hone as the box. Chemicals toilets, cold showers. It really is just a campground with basic facilities but the location is amazing, only 5 minutes walk to rarawa beach.

Awesome campground, plenty of space to set up camp. There are a few long drop toilets, and cold showers. Short walk to an absolute stunner of a beach! We will be back for sure!

Rarawa Beach Campsite
Been visiting this camp since 1976 well before it became mainstream. Back in those days it was a Land & Survey block and the only access was across the paddocks and through a dry creek. It was beautiful with pine trees lining the river and we camped underneath them in the shade.
