Kapiti Heliworx

Love to say i have had a great experience but we never got to go on our flight - the helicopter pilot sound excellent but the receptionist Zoe lets the team down as she is rude and really needs to not work in the service industry. I asked for a refund on the voucher i had purchased after there had been no flights we could go on for 18 months to mt hector. I am understanding of the fact there has been covid during this time and so in good faith just wanted a refund on my voucher as it had been purchased as a surprise for my partners birthday. Every time over those 18 months i called every few months and said she would call me when a mt hector flights comes up we could fit on to. Since she never did call me (even once) when i did call she would very casually relay the same message that she would call me when a flight comes up". I am a pretty patient person but decided 18 months was long enough to wait and asked for a refund. She tells me the owners would probably not give me a refund now as it had been over 12 months. Luckily i got my refund and in a follow up email she said "youv'e got your refund what more do you want?""

What a great experience and what an excellent Christmas present! Got a totally unique perspective on Transmission Gully. Perfect day, smooth flight (thanks Dennis) and panoramic views of the Kāpiti Coast. A good option for those wanting to try a helicopter flight for the first time.

I cannot recommend this helicopter company enough. My band and I took a 45 minute scenic flight. First we flew out and around Kapiti Island which was truely mind blowing. We learnt about the history of the island which was fascinating! We then flew up to explore the stunning Tararua Range with a landing on Mt Hector. Just WOW. An uber memorable trip and we knew we were in the safest hands with Dennis, clearly an exceptional and very experienced pilot. There was a bit of wind about out at sea and we didn't feel a bump. Just do it!! Thank you Kapiti Heliworx - we will be back.

Four of us took a helicopter flight with Kapiti Heliworx over the new Transmission Gully road from Kapiti Airport it was an awesome flight with great views of the Kapiti Coast and, of course, the new highway. It was great to see it without cars and marvel at the huge project that it has been. Dennis the pilot was very informative and made the flight a great experience .

These guys gave my teenagers a fabulous memorable trip around the coast of Kapiti. Very professional, well priced and a friendly pilot. Thoroughly recommend as a surprise gift experience.

Kapiti Heliworx made our experience of flying over Kapiti Island very special. Right from the start they were accommodating to our needs and requests, making sure that we had a great time.The flight was breathtaking and felt very safe throughout.
