We did the loop to the pools, then the swinging bridge, and back to the visitor center. It was just over two hours with a good amount of stairs but awesome views. Highly recommend!Check the weather/radar beforehand if you are dead set on having a good view of the mountain.

Awesome pools and loop walk to get to there. Going just after rain is cool too as the streams are more visible

Wow this is an amazing place. Pools all way down, you can take a swim or just look at the beautiful waterfalls. The loop is easiest in the beginning. After the pool there was a lot of water many places on the track and at once we had to cross the river (no bridge). But we took it as an adventure and the kids loved it. Be aware that there’s a very narrow road the last 5 KM and no dog are allowed (not even in the car).

Lovely walking track. It says 1 hour 20 minutes for the loop but it’s probably 45 minutes at a steady pace.Lovely mesh for people just to get to the falls. If you do the full loop it turns into a standard type track.Lovely spot. Generally well sheltered.

So worth the trip to here, Beautiful drive up. The forest is so lush and fairytale like. The stream is so clear and inviting. Followed another review and decided wisely to wear waterproof boots for the stream crossings.

Nice easy track through bush that has some of the goblin forest feel to it that is found on Mt Egmont. Was a little underwhelmed at first when we got to the pools but once you keep climbing up the side you get to see all the grooves and holes in the rocks carved out by the water, a grotto, blue pools and a view of the mountain at the top. Unfortunately the cloud didn't lift for a photo for us so I would recommend going on a clear day to see the best of Wilkie's pools

Easy walk. Once you get to the pools, keep going up. Yes the small alcove waterfall is beautiful, but if you keep going, it’s quiet. And the perfect place to nap.

I started my walk to wilkies pools from Stratford plateau car park. Is a nice walk down to the pools but slightly harder going back up to car park. You can swim and use the rock formation as a slide into the pools it's very cold and refreshing.

The soggy cloudy weather cannot stop us to explore Dawson Falls. We started hiking in the rain from Dawson Falls Visitors Centre to Wilies Pools (40mins), and then walked down to the Base of Dawson Falls. Easy walk with fantastic view.
