Went to onslow for the Sunday lunch - set menu with a few adjustments as my wife is pregnant. This was no trouble at all and the lovely wait staff knew everything which was safe to eat and should be avoided.The entrees were a real highlight, the fried bread and chicken liver parfait was absolutely delicious.Great food, great service, nice drinks, we will be back. Excellent value as well 4 courses for $85 per person, we were very full at the end.

Amazing birthday lunch at Onslow, crayfish eclair was truly a treat, snapper in the beurre Blanc YUM! The salmon trolley was an experience as well as exquisite. Even mocktail was delicious but friends cocktail was best she’d ever had. Smart but comfortable space with great service, can’t wait to go back.

Overall great service and delicious food. The establishment feels upscale and luxurious, and provides a fine dining atmosphere even at lunch. Minor complaints: The “tuna carpaccio” was not carpaccio, more like medium rare and grey on the outside, but still tasted good. The “simple green salad” was truly rather simple, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Everything else was delicious and interesting and well presented. The starter “treats” especially are creative and delectable.

Nice fine dining experience to spend a special day. For us it was our engagement anniversary and we received cards and bonus chocolate. Thank you for this! We ordered the lamb as our main course and the portion is huge. Nice cocktails and we love them. Chocolate soufflé should not be missed.

Had a lovely dining experience here last Friday night with my good friend.Service was great from start to finish. Shout out to Jach, our very friendly and knowledgeable waiter.Food was yummy. My fave dish was the pumpkin entree dish. I loved the martini cart, my friend who isn't a huge gin fan was very impressed with his mezcal martini and I loved my dirty martini that was made using award winning Roots Gin.Overall a fab dining experience. Thanks Onslow. ❤️

TL;DR 10/10 would highly recommend!If you want to treat yourself to an amazing culinary experience, look no further! Onslow hits all the right spots in terms of the delicious food, lovely service and beautiful atmosphere.We couldn’t possibly choose one favourite dish, but our top 3 are the salmon trolley, beef cheek and chicken liver parfait. If you truly love these ingredients, I promise you that Onslow honours them and makes them to perfection, highlighting the natural flavours within.This was our first time there, but surely won't be the last!

One of my favorites fine dining restaurant in Auckland. We have been here for a few times for the last couple of years. Both service and good are good. Their menu didn't change very often. I love their treats selection.

Tucked into a corner of an elegant old building, inside Onslow exudes modern sophistication. The room is quiet enough for conversation. The service was attentive, and the food was both creative and delicious - not always true in combination. I started with one of several gin and tonic pairings - a great selection.The crayfish eclair (one) lived up to its billing, a clever riff on a lobster roll. The salmon trolley sliced off three strips tableside with tasty accompaniments. Together they might make a light dinner. Instead of a main, I had the three sides - all good but better shared. The chocolate soufflé was excellent, and the hot buttered rum trolley was a sweet indulgence.I ate too much, and the tab was quite high, but it was a memorable fine dining experience.

Fantastic experience. Service was laid back yet professional, sharp, efficient, well all the things, John is a hero at what he does. We had to race to a concert and he made our evening work with ease…Food was immaculate. The fit out is beautiful. Negroni was top notch. Some real cracker wines by the glass. This is the best dining experience I’ve had in years.Thanks so much.
