Armstrong's Peugeot Lower Hutt

A close family member has had terrible experiences with Armstrong's. Service items (baffles, error codes) have been missing requiring a reservice. Unauthorised items (tyres) have been installed and billed despite explicitly mentioning them as excluded. Most recently, Shane (Service Manager) bullied the family member into an on-the-spot bank transfer with screenshot when the EFTPOS machine didn't work at their rural property. The lack of professionalism is remarkable; I'll be advising my friends and family to steer clear of Armstrong's for car and service purchases. Do yourself a favour and give your money to a business that cares about the customer - Armstrong's has made it abundantly clear they do not.

Great efficient service

Just wanted to acknowledge and share the excellent customer experience and 5-star service I have received at Armstrong Peugeot in Lower Hutt.I have recently purchased a pre-owned Peugeot 3008.My customer sales rep, Rhys genuinely made the whole process a relaxing and comfortable encounter and delivered top-notch customer service throughout.He was very accommodating, making sure that all my queries were covered and made the ‘shopping’ experience simple and pleasant, every step of the way.And with the excellent servicing team and valet treatment provided, this quality used vehicle could quite easily been mistaken for a brand new vehicle. It still has the sleek ‘new car’ impression and quality drive several weeks since our purchase.The entire experience has been a pleasure. I am a very happy customer and proud owner of a great vehicle. Bought used car from Armstrong Peugeot Lower Hutt 22/09/2022, sales service was great throughout. HOWEVER after taking ownership of the vehicle, I received 2 NZTA certificate of registration saying my name is registered to two different number plates/vehicles. The dealer also couldn’t enter my correct address to NZTA system too which I had to fix. Had to deregister myself off the wrong number plate as dealer were too busy with other things and couldn’t fix their mistake. Future buyers be aware! How can this even happen in the first place!

Had a very poor experience at this dealership on the 19 Sep with their salesperson called Ben. My partner, a friend and I were browsing for a car all day and thought we had found the winner. I then went inside to talk prices with Ben and get additional information. Apart from the fact that he knew hardly anything about the car/ service history etc., he was very not transparent an outright lied to us on multiple occasions. Being in sales myself, I understand that you're playing the game but it's all about good customer service at the same time. He told us the Sales Manager making any decision was off-site and 'called him' (if he did), then we needed to go to another manager to simply get info about warranty" but once I was in the room (as my partner and friend were checking out the motor etc. outside at that stage) I was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable and put on the spot
