Went them on a whim for brunch. The place was pretty busy but we got a table. Coffee and tea arrived quickly but while the Americano coffee was fine, the English Breakfast tea was very weak and tasteless. Then we had to wait over 30 minutes for our mains which were their big breakfast and poached on toast with a side of avocadp, They were very disappointing dishes. The scrambled eggs in the big breakfast was overcooked and quite firm while the sausage was quite tough. Clearly it had been deep fried.I didn't take a picture but asked if the poachedd eggs could be cooked slighly less runny than usual. One was was fine, the other had a yolk like a hard boiled egg. And the avocado for which we were charged $6 was barely a half an avocado that was overripe and just sliced on the plate with some seasonings.Certainly will not be going back. The meal was not worth $54.5

We recently visited this restaurant for brunch and were disappointed with our experience. Although the prices were high, the quality of the food was not up to par. The Eggs Benedict with Bacon that I ordered had a burned, tough muffin that was difficult to cut, and the eggs were overcooked and rubbery. The bacon was of poor quality and very fatty. The portion size was small, and the hollandaise sauce tasted cheap and greasy. My husband's Big Breakfast was also disappointing, with burnt and rubbery bacon and overcooked eggs. Additionally, the food was cold by the time it arrived at our table due to a delay in service. The cramped seating arrangement made us feel uncomfortable, as the tables were too close together for comfort. We felt like we were eating in a cafeteria rather than a restaurant. Overall, our experience was not worth the high price, and we would not recommend this restaurant.

I read the previous reviews for this cafe. They were mixed so wanted to test the waters myself. My yard stick is my 95 year Mother. Firstly the cafe is clean and sunny. Secondly, the staff were friendly and helpful. And thirdly, as a lunchtime venue, the food was excellent and it arrived in a timely. My Mother always insists on crispy bacon and she wasn't disappointed. The added bonus is that I get to eat what she can't!

No avocado seasonal issues" (though the supermarket up the road has them). Tomato confit substitute very nice though a more rustic seed bread would have been appreciated. Perfect poached egg on top. Burger: patty overcooked but otherwise pleasant

Lovely new cafe in a great spot. Love the coffee, consistently good and strong. My favourite meal on the menu is the vege breakfast, a generous, tasty plate of food, and my husband really enjoyed the juicy burger he had when he came with me the other day. The staff are really friendly and hard working, and patient and polite in the face of rude customers! Because this place changed ownership and went from being a restaurant to a cafe, I think some people who go there expect it to be the same. It's not. But it's lovely in its own right. I'm very happy that it's now my regular. See you again soon.

A lovely man with a beard warmly welcomed us on the porch and gave us a blanket to stay warm outside when we decided to eat el fresco which was great. The food was good, came out quick and the prices reasonable. Good coffee. The service was warm and friendly...will go back.

Went in for brunch with friends on Sunday. Great coffee and good menu options, was hard to choose just one! Everyone enjoyed their food, my avocado on toast was a generous serving that kept me going all afternoon. Tasty fries with my partner’s s burger and eggs bene did not disappoint. Only criticism is that it was quite noisy inside, but will definitely be going back.

We went to Bread and Butter Eatery today on Easter Sunday for lunch. Our friends have been there before and they thought highly of the place.I ordered the big breakfast while the guys had the BNB burger. Our girlfriend had the mushrooms on toast with bacon. I enjoyed my big breakfast, and the guys enjoyed their burgers. However, our girlfriend didn't enjoy her mushrooms on toast as much. She thought it was a bit bland and the toast wasn't sourdough. I was the only one who had dessert - I had the chocolate brownie. Although nice, I thought it was pretty average. Their coffee was good, though.Overall experience was very good. The staff were very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was pretty good. We will definitely come back.
