Having imported antique furniture, we needed a floor that would match the charm and elegance of the surroundings. What were important decisions in choosing an installation company for our wooden floors included: technical advice, cost, delivery, comprehensiveness of full service, and the final quality of installation. Expert Flooring exceeded our expectations in delivering the former.With knowledgeable and one of the recommendations from Expert Flooring, our final choice was Karndean LooseLay. Their cost was very competitive making them the final choice of installers. They arrived for preparation and delivered the final product on the exact date as initially scheduled.Choosing a floor installation company, we were apprehensive hearing stories regarding the contracting out of sections of the work to subcontractors – such as floor preparation or the installation. Rightly or wrongly, we believe subcontracting could provide the potential for delays in delivery schedule and final quality of installation. In this regard, Expert Flooring provided a full service with their full time team – this included the floor preparation which required the lifting of tiles, filling, and smooth plastering.The quality of the installation was superb as seen in the pictures below. Excellent teamwork certainly attributed to their quality and delivery.Well done Andy and the whole team.

This company was recommended by a friend who was really pleased with the carpet laying she had had, so that was our start point.From the moment we started looking at flooring, both carpet and vinyl, Andy was informative and helpful with information about different carpet types. He didn't 'crowd us' or push us to make decisions, and we were able to take multiple samples home repeatedly. His measuring up of the house was carried out efficiently. We were then provided with multiple competitive quotes as we procrastinated between various options.The vinyl went down first and looks amazing. Then Tux's did a fabulous job with the carpet laying and smashed out" the 4 sets of staircases with professionalism and attention to detail - what a machine!Well done for great service. Expert flooring installed laminate flooring for me, was a total disaster, shoddy workmanship , damage, zero preparation, came back 4 times to try and fix it, (took over 6 months ) more problems. i contacted the product rep who came and inspected, he also agreed that the installation was sub standard. Tried to resolve with Andy but was arrogant and said nothing wrong with it. Disputes tribunal case pending as this is my only option now.

Team were patient as we embarked on a lengthy choosing process. The flooring was installed when they said it would be, and the install team were polite and friendly at all times. Any little hiccoughs were dealt with immediately and appropriately. Thanks everyone.

The(installer) boy told me he is 7and half years experienced in carpet industry, the one whom trained him how to lay carpet is the top.manager from carpetmill, he explained me he has done thousands of job for pragama homes, golden homes, urban homes, signiture homes, but he is using 15mm-20mm trowel to glue garage carpet, they dont even know the right tool for.the jobDo some proper training Andy,One of the worst job i have seen last 5 years for sure, way too roughAndy, the vinly floor is strainght than their arse, the trim crooked in the middle, the ends was flush, becuase they ramset gun pushed it out, they didnt even glue it ?the point is they cut short, and mitre so badly (0nly two mitres none of them tight from each end) from the photos, is that basic skill?Using correct trowel size to fully glue down, is that basic skill ? as the photo, you can see the back of the carpet is not enough coverage?Are you trying to provide european standards ?
