Whale Watch Kaikoura

Brilliant experience. Well organised and great facilities. Thank you all so much!Staff were helpful and polite despite having to deal with some rude customers. People need to read the information on the website more carefully to avoid disappointment... Many families had turned up with young children and because of the sea conditions the Captain changed the age to 5 and over instead of 3 and over (It does clearly state this can happen on the terms and conditions) It was definitely the right decision as the sea conditions were quite bad and lots of people got severe Sea Sickness ( I would not have wanted to take a young child on the tour that day) please just bare in mind this is for your families safety!

Great Team, Great Boat , amazing experience!The captain and the crew manage to bring us up close to 3 different whales with 4 dives in total!We also manage to see Orcas which was a really big plus but we know was kind of rare!Plenty of dolphins and albatrosses and other sea birds !Definitely recommend

Awesome cruise. We were lucky enough to see 2 whales (one whale we saw dive twice so three dives in total). Also saw loads of dolphins and seals and sea birds. Crew were awesome and the boat felt very smooth as we were lucky to have calm seas. See a lot of negative reviews on here but would recommend to ignore them as sounds like people who were unlucky enough to have cancellations or not see whales.

Well worth the price. Great staff and captain does everything in his power to get a sighting. Very informative program during boat ride as well. Clean boat and facilities. We had three sightings and a giant albatross landed by us as well. Two tail shots.

We went on the tour at King's Birthday weekend with my family and my parents, my dad is in a wheel chair. Not only did we all have an amazing time due to the staff and seeing whales, dolphins, seals, birds and all sorts. I was super impressed on how my dad was treated, with him sitting by the window, all staff made the effort and made sure he saw everything we saw and made sure his view wasn't blocked by others. I was worried that he wouldn't see everything but didn't need to be. THANK YOU so much to the crew and captain on the 1245pm Sat 3rd June sailing. You made my dad's day!!!! As he put it - he had a F**n great time""

Very nice boat, knowledgeable crew, and an absolutely amazing, lucky day to whale watch! Saw 2 Sperm whales within 45 minutes. Closer to shore large groups of Common and Dusty dolphins. Then to top it off, a family of Orcas swimming amongst the dolphins. Unbelievable but also just very lucky. Tour we chose is around 3.5 hours.

Very slick, very professional operation. Amazing experience. Word of warning... if you are prone to motion sickness, you will need something to combat this. They do sell stuff there for it.We saw one Sperm Whale on the day and various other cool wildlife, and the boat is super fast and comfortable. We went on a kids go free" deal... can be pricey otherwise."

Really appreciated your flexibility to rebook or refund when the original tour is cancelled. The narrator was really good and provided us with so much useful info. overall a fantastic experience to see whales, dolphins and seals

This was the best experience we had in New Zealand! We saw whales, so many dolphins and seals up close, all without intruding on them. Loved it! The personnel were also very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Toilets at the facility and on board the vessel were acceptably clean too!
