This was my childhood best Fish and chip shop ever! Because they are on the way to Mahia beach they really know how to cook cool things like Paua fritters. Don’t be put off by the size and old world appearance of this shop.

Stopped in on our way back to Gizzy we ordered a Hamburger, fish burger 2 Tarakihi, 1 hotdog and 1/2 a scoop of garlic chips, what a really salivating surprise it was maybe a little to salty but hands down the best I’ve had in a long time better then most places in Gizzy will be back.

The both fish and half chips was top class. Sometimes the 2nd fish at other f/chip shops can bs suspect..... I will be back to revisit the coast after April, hopefully bring them some great magazines for the shop.

Very friendly service! Always stop here when heading to Mahia to get a lovely fresh feed of fish and chips. Never had any problems and the price is cheap, considering they are located far from town.

Mean as food, yummy fish n chips were clean asBurgers were amazingThe only thing was there was waay too much salt but apart from that everything was amazing would definitely be back and would definitely recommend to come here
