The new footbridge looks great but is the beautiful arch really practical? It leans so far out over the water, is its 28 tonne weight not putting excessive load on the structure? Cracks appear already in the deck.

Nice bridge for walking and cycling. It's not that clear where to park on Onehunga side but there is plenty of parkings on Mangere side
