Loved this yarn shop. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She took tons of time to answer all our questions so we got exactly what we wanted. Then she offered to ship all our purchases to the United States! She could not have been more helpful! I highly recommend this as a perfect yarn stop! Hope you get to experience it as well!

Amazing yarn store in Auckland’s delightful Parnel area.Great mix of yarns with many excellent NZ yarns featured.There are many classics including Rowan, Cascade, Zauberballs but for me I am in love with the awesome local options.Beautiful possum yarns were on my list today!Great selection of needles (Chiaogoo, Hiya Hiya, Addi) notions as well as some lovely stash bags.Highly recommend this store if you are hunting for great yarns.Service was super friendly, welcoming as well as very knowledgeable.AAA+

I'm a knitter again since retiring two year ago. I visited this shop on a trip to Auckland in October, and have been ordering yarn and accessories online ever since. Loopine is the loveliest shop, full of treasures and joie de vivre! Not just yarn, there is a range of knitted-up garments so you can see how things might turn out, and cool accessories. Alanna was so helpful, and very attuned to the knitter's skill level. I was there for 90 minutes. Allow plenty of time if you love to knit and talk about knitting :) I enjoy the newsletters also, thank you Alex.

Nice .. but after visiting the wool shop in Milford it was a little disappointing. Staff not particularly interested in showing me around. Their patterns were on line. I liked the location on Parnell Street.

What an amazing yarn shop! Lovely selection of yarns of different weights, wonderful knowledgeable staff, and as a bonus a delicious coffee and chocolate treat is available right next door.
