Muddy and waterlogged pitch. On a good day when all is calm it's jot tok bad, but in general freezing and not pleasant.

Great on a calm day. Beach is sandy just below low tide mark. Alot less crowded than Days Bay

Nice beach to have a walk. With Fantastic view of Wellington city, out through the heads & north over to Petone.The beach is full of shell for the kids to find their favourite. Peaceful & quite. (Great when there’s no wind)
