Seal Kayak Kaikoura

We had a really lovely sunrise kayak! The pedal kayaks were fun and easy to use, our guide was very knowledgeable about the seals and the area in general, and the views were unreal. We have already recommended Seal Kayak to our family visiting later this month!

We had a great time on the water @ sunset with Levi and Noah. They really emphasized safety, had all the gear required, and were all around great local guides. We saw tons of seals—including in the water with us—and saw a baby penguin! It was also a beautiful way to see Kaikoura from a unique POV. Would highly recommend this experience.

Such an amazing experience kayaking in Kaikoura! My husband and I went with our 3 year old daughter and had a fabulous time. The tour was well organized and we felt safe and in great hands with our experienced guide, Levi. We got to see seals and birds up close and learned about the local wildlife. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure in Kaikoura.

Fantastic guides and comfortable paddle kayaks. We had Richie as our guide and he had extensive knowledge about Kaikoura and sealife. Keep it up team :)

We had a great morning out on the water with Richie and Andy this week. The pedal kayak was so easy to use and not tiring at all so we managed to cover a huge area seeing lots of marine life and learning plenty about Kaikoura along the way. Everyone was super friendly and the weather was amazing too which obviously made the morning even better. We’d definitely recommend. Thanks guys!

Levy was a joy! He knows a good deal about the wildlife and is wonderful at explaining everything to keep visitors safe, yet have a great view of the fur seals. The kayaks are very easy to control and paddle. I highly recommend this experience.

Absolutely fabulous morning tour with my adult daughter and her friends. The kayaks were very comfortable, stable and easy to use. We lucked in with the Dusky dolphins playing around us and saw a few seals and one little blue penguin. Loved it !

Had an amazing morning out in the ocean. Levi was an amazing guide and showed us how to use the kayaks which are so easy and relaxing to use and then took us around the coastline.So awesome to see the fur seals up close and literally have a seal swim up between the kayaks and say hello.The information on the tour was great as well, just a really chill time, would be amazing to do the sunset tour next time!The kayaks are really cool and you are given a very water proof jacket with rubber seals on the wrists so you don’t have to worry, which we didn’t anyway as we stayed completely dry. So don’t worry about that!We will be back with more friends!

We had a great trip! The pedal kayaks ride much more pleasant than a normal. Unfortunately, this time there were no fur seals in the water, only on the rocks. But it was still a great adventure, with very nice guides!
