Really nice spot to stay if you are an NZMCA member. Park up under the trees for a few dollars a night. Just one thing to note is the water in Reefton is boil first

Reefton Racecourse
This is a camping site situated at the Reefton Race Course. It is on a quiet back street and offers a roomie area for self-contained motorhomes and caravans. The only facility is a cold water tape (all water in Reefton needs to be boiled before drinking). Charges are a very reasonable $4 per person per night paid in cash at the on-site iron-maiden. There is a public dump station close by with easy access.

As a NZMCA members it's a perfect place to stay and explore the village and surroundings. We enjoyed the shops, museum and had a drink or two.
