The manager and staff at Michael Hill in the Plaza were fantastic when my ring needed replacing. It had lost stones, and was unable to be repaired, but they offered to replace it for another ring, at no cost to myself. Good on you for doing the right thing for your customer! I will definitely go there again for jewelry, purely because of the great customer service and the willingness to go the extra mile and put things right.

Wide selection and lots of staff on which is great this time of year.However specials where not advertised and staff had no idea about them other than ringing through a sale. I would of happily spent more if I knew what was on sale, especially when dealing with large increments of $$$Wont be back.

Hugely disappointed as I was promised a phone call from the Manager that I did not recieve because of a complaint I put in about a staff member costing me hundreds of dollars because they incorrectly sized my Fiancès ring finger. Upon approaching the store about the issue, I was then told MHJ has exclusive ring sizing which was not verbalized at the time, staff member then tried to sell me their ring sizer. Totally confused at their customer service and would not recommend.

Great experience with Gene, she was very patient with my fiancé and I while we were picking out our wedding bands. She showed us options and looked after us really well. All the staff at the Palmerston North Store were great to deal.

Myself and my Fiancé went into Michael Hill a few days ago and got top notch customer service from Sarah! She was knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and most importantly she didn’t pressure us into a purchase. This is the place to go if you’re after jewellery!

Excellent sales person Jasmine, took care of us very well .she answered all our questions and was very easy ti talk with.

Jewellery is rubbish. Bought $4000 ring had it 10 years worn about 20 times, diamond came out and now they want $1400 to fix it. Supposed to be given form for it to be checked every 6 mths was not given form. Total rip off. Poor workmanship should last for year's

Service not good. First staff member did not listen to what we were wanting and sized rings incorrectly. We returned to try to get what we wanted and second staff member insisted on us seeing her so she could get the commission (after I had revisited to try to sort it out). This took several hours before she was free and then pushed for Q card which we did not need or want. We wanted to pay with our credit card but this was not an option given for payment.It is now nearly 2 months and we are still waiting for the correct rings in correct size. Our plans have had to be altered to accommodate the mistakes. Perhaps they should realise that it should not just be about their commission.
