Paparoa Beach Hideaway and Hot Tub

Was there when it was still just beach hideaway, the place was just beautifull, very quiet and romantic. I would definitively give it a try again next time

5 stars!!!! This gorgeous location set in stunningly beautiful garden surrounds complimented with the most amazing little cottages was beyond our expectation. Cottages were well designed and appointed making our one night stay so comfortable and relaxing. The hot tub was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

Loved the proximity to the ocean and surrounding attractions of the West Coast. The 1 bedroom house was modern with all the amenities. Excellently well apposed with super comfortable bed, white quality linen and full cooking facilities. The spa tub was amazing in its own unique shelter.

Bob was the perfect host! When we arrived he greeted us and ensured our cabin was clean and we had everything we needed. It was tranquil with a beautiful garden space and spa to enjoy. Bob checked on us the next day and we told him we will definitely be back, we loved it.

Wow what a place... fantastic setting. Everything we needed for a quiet relaxing stop on our trip. Hot tub was fantastic.As in the house advice, Bob the neighbours cat rocked up and gave us such a welcome....Only disappointment was the track at the end of private road to the beach was too muddy to walk down after the rain.

We stayed here after hiking the Paparoa Track and it totally recharged us! The location for us was perfect - a short drive from Punakaiki and with a great view of the ocean.The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and was spotless. We particularly enjoyed having the fireplace but, as the only source of heat, it did take quite some time to warm the entire place and the fireplace kept turning itself off for no obvious reason.Waking up to the multitude of birdsongs and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach was the best. The property is stunning and beautifully landscaped.We are especially appreciative that the owners were able to let us stay there as level 4 lockdown happened while we were hiking and we were far too tired to be able to make the drive back to Christchurch safely that night.

This place is amazing. The accomodation is spotless and has everything we needed, even insect repellent. The sunsets are spectacular and extremely relaxing to sit and watch.We will be back.

Wowser, what a place, didn't wanted to leave... The cleanest place I have ever stayed at! Everything and more there, full kitchen with oven, BBQ outside, a fire pit in the garden and the best : A hot tub hut with tropical plants and pebbles under foot that made us feel like being in the islands. Very private and tranquil, only birds and the ocean to listen to. Extra large and comfy bed and lots of floor space to do yoga on,yay. Very warm too. Loved it !
